Thanks for trying The Warning! This is the only band that I am confident that they don't have a bad song. Pick anything. They have also given two TEDx talks on the difficulties in being women and breaking into rock music, including the record companies that wanted to sign them, if only they would play pop music.

These girls are awesome. The Villarreal Velez sisters from Monterrey Mexico. Daniela (Dany) on guitar, now 23. Paulina (Pau) on drums ,now 21. And Alejandra (Ale) on bass, now 18. They have been playing together for 10 years. Their cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman , at ages 14,12,and 9, was posted for family, and went viral. Dany sings lead on a majority of songs, Pau sings lead on some, and Ale will sing lead if needed. This song is from their 3rd album, Error, which they spent most of last year touring for, including all of last summer with The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. At one summer show in the middle of The Warning set, when Dany needed to switch guitars, Lzzy Hale came out and gifted to her a new custom Gibson Explorer. Dany just thought she got to borrow Lzzy's guitar, after the show, Lzzy told her it was hers. Can't go wrong with any of those songs you mentioned, all with Dany on lead vocal. For Pau on lead , try Dust to Dust, The End, or Revenant.

If you want to hear them live, I suggest either “Animosity” or “Enter Sandman” at Teatro Metropolitan CDMX. You won’t be disappointed.

Evolve is a rock anthem!!! The Warning closes their shows with this great song. They write great lyrics, which you can understand. The Warning are storytellers, using their own unique style of rock with an infectious sound. These 3 sisters are currently ages 23, 21 and 18 and are working on their 4th album of all original songs. Not a bad on in the bunch.

That poll was clearly problematic. Every song was of the highest caliber. They all deserve to be heard, but I'm glad The Warning came in at the last moment. They have no bad songs, and Paulina the drummer is clearly always fun to watch. She occasionally sings lead. While Drumming. Vigorously. The song you are thinking of is probably Enter Sandman, They just released a live professionally recorded version of it from a show in Mexico City last August. It has somewhat the same vibe as Evolve, but quite different. Purely coincidence that they both start with an E and have the same number of letters? Mmmaybe.

Suggestion: Go revisit their 2014 cover of "Enter Sandman" when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old that now has almost 25M views, to refresh your memory. Then compare that to "Enter Sandman" with Alessia Cara, which they reimagined brilliantly for the Metallica Blacklist tribute album. It's mind-blowing! 🤩

Hello Nikki and welcome to The Warning. Never discount The Warning on any poll, because The Warning Army is one of the most active fan groups out there. Another song? That is hard because they have no bad compositions. I will give another vote to Animosity from the Teatro Metropolitan show, just because it is live and professionally recorded. Wonderful reaction. I liked and subscribed.

My suggestions: Disciple, Animosity, Choke, Enter Sandman, Money and Error. These are the main ones but it's a deep well. If you liked the drummer, check out Dust to Dust live at Lunario CDMX you will get a treat. Dust to Dust is from their second album and all of the others mentioned are from their latest (3rd) album except Enter Sandman which is from the Metallica Blacklist album. A fun reaction to Enter Sandman would be to do the 2014 version and then the 2021 version with Alessia Cara and you can see the evolution of the band in those seven years.

The Villarreal sisters are true artists, not a plastic creation. They are young but experienced artists with 10+ years of experience playing as a band. All 3 have played the piano since childhood and have been fully bilingual (Spanish-English) since they were little. Currently, they have more than 42 songs of their own (3 albums and 2 EPs) and the lyrics of their songs are never trivial, some phrases are even poetic.

Nice reaction! Their video of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara is definitely worth a view, as is their original cover that went viral years ago...incredible for their age, let's say. Choke has also been very popular, with over 5 million listens on Spotify. I'm currently on a Kool-Aid Kids kick and think it's highly underrated, but the only studio recording vid I'm aware of is their lyric video.

Enjoy the rabbit hole that is The Warning. All of their songs are good. My favorite album (so far) is "Error", their most recent. They bring a passion to their music I've not heard in decades. Their songs tell stories with meaning and substance. They've opened for some major groups and are being noticed by the right people. They're going to be headliners very soon. The hype surrounding them is real, because it's all fan-based. It's not some slick marketing campaign by an agency. When you think talent, skill, musicianship, dedication and passion...that's The Warning.

These 3 sisters have been banging out belters for 10 years now, and now, at the tender ages of 23, 21, and 18, they are not slowing down. These sisters write all their own songs and perform each one with passion and energy, as you noticed with their facial expressions. They are great performers and musicians too. There is no other Band to listen to but the Warning.. Go back to their Beginning when they were very young and doing Enter Sandman. They played it so they could send it to their Grandparents on you tube. A short time later it blew up on RU-vid. 24 million Views on it

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to RU-vid for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RU-vid and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021. In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song... Excellent reaction. This is one of the best bands of the last decade. This album, Error, is their best album on whole imho. Three sister from Mexico who started playing as kids after playing the Rock Band games. A wholesome origin story for one of the only true rock bands from the West today. You should consider checking out Band-Maid. They have way more variety than practically any band, closer to Queen or the Beatles, so depending on your specific tastes, your favorite could be literally one of 100 different songs. They're actually starting their 10th anniversary tour. I will suggest the most typical introductory song, *"Band-Maid Domination LIVE official music video"* as it gives you an idea of their talent and stage presence.

I think you'd really like Animosity ( there's a great live version from Teatro Metro), but every song that you listed are great, as are dozens more in their catalogue. These girls are the real deal, and have found the perfect blend between rock beats and riffs, and pop hooks. They instantly converted this skeptical old-school fan who had written them off as a gimmick for years. I appreciate the full open and honest audit you gave us on the poll situation, and that you came back to it to give The Warning their listen, because fair is fair. Great reaction Nikkie! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. The Warning really doesn't have what I'd call a "bad" song. Though I would personally recommend Disciple next as it's a better showcase of all the bands talent then some of the others.

(This may be a long entry) Hello, Nikki. I came across your channel today. You earned a sub from me. Well done! I want to give you more suggestions of bands that I think you will like, since you like Jinjer, Nightwish, and The Warning. Your husband (break a guy's heart, why don't ya?) can add them to the spreadsheet. If you want links, let me know. I'll list the songs and give some notes as needed. First, some more The Warning songs: 1. "Money" The video is the studio version of the song over a live performance of them opening for The Foo Fighters in Mexico. 2. "Animosity" There are a couple versions but go with the most recent live one. 3. "Choke" The next three bands all hail from Japan and are all female. Band-Maid is a hard rock/metal band. Their songs have a combination of Japanese and English lyrics. They usually have subtitles. I saw them live this past October. It was the second best live show I've ever seen (behind Metallica in the early '90s). 1. "Domination (Live)" 2. "From now on" This song is an instrumental. 3. "Sayonakadori" Find the acoustic live version. Lovebites are a band that combine power and thrash metal. They really hearken back to the great metal of the '80s. All the lyrics are in English and the videos usually have subtitles. 1. "Holy War (Live)" 2. "Set the World on Fire (Live)" 3. "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" This is their newest release and is a little different than their usual stuff, but still rocks hard. Finally, my new favorite band, Nemophila. Pronounced NEH-mo-feela. Their singer does some screaming like Tati from Jinjer, but hers is more of a high-pitched rasp. They sing in a combination of English and Japanese. Some will be all Japanese, some will be mostly English and a little Japanese, and some will be mostly Japanese and a little English. They also do some great cover songs (Iron Maiden, Motley Crue, Linkin Park, etc.). 1. "Oiran (RU-vid version)" Their debut original. 2. "Dissension" Super heavy. Please do the first/original version, NOT the U.S. version. 3. "Adabana" My favorite of theirs and the best song I heard in '22.

Nikki, please have a closer look on the lyrics. They are mostly very poetical. And don't overlook Paulina's deeply sad piano ballads. Or the very emotional "Crimson Queen" sung by Daniela.
