Still my favorite music video by them and probably the only song where I recommend this over a good quality live version. "We make buildings but what we need are bridges, we're stuck within these walls." Is such an apt description for how technology meant to connect is actually isolating people. To think they were young teens when they wrote this makes me glad they went with The Warning as a band name. Imagine these songs coming from a band called 'the Peppermints'. 🤣
The girls early work is still my favorite and their signature sound for me XXI century blood still might be my favorite album but everything from" Escape the mind" thru" Error "is exceptional. Appreciate your genuine reactions also!❤
It is 100% right and we already pay the prize for our love of this rush. I work for the health care system in my country and if I would have to guess a number, I would say about 85% of the people, who are now between 16 and 25 years old, are searching for a therapist. 25-30 years I'd say 70-75%. And it will get worse.... Extreme situation with many people suffering!

I'm older than Kathy, and younger than Donna (although probably not by much), but I worked in the tech industry - mostly software - for 30+ years. Probably thanks to that career path, I knew better than to let phones and other mobile devices addict me, because I knew precisely what was happening "behind the scenes". Just remember - if you aren't paying for it (and sometimes even if you are), you ARE the "product" being sold. So, yeah... no thanks to any of that garbage. It was a delight to see _The Warning_ recognize this reality and speak on it early on, and they have continued to do so. Hopefully more and more people are starting to listen...

This is the song/video that reintroduced me to The Warning and the Rabbit hole that I slide down, without any struggle. I suspect that (I cant ever see it happening) trying to get out will require some sort of trauma therapy. lol I did see them earlier and thought, I must keep an eye on them, sorry DPA but i got distracted until this one.
That video is as professional as it gets and the song is amazing considering it was written by teenagers. Banging guitar solo too, one of Dany's best. This one is 7 years old, so when are you going to react to their new songs? 3 dropped in the last month and all are fantastic. i always wonder how many others notice the number on the indoctrination pod the baby is placed into... many of us think it may be a shout out to YES and their 1983 album _"90125"_ which was released two years after Yes broke up... you can find a few links to that album in its entirety... not really a music video as it is only the music but you can also find OMVs for some of the songs on that album... the OMV for the first song on that YES album also has a similar theme as this video with "culprits" and "recovery agents"... the video and whole album is a great trip back in time... so back to this original video by DPA/TW... yes, the imagery is awesome and extremely thought provoking... there's a lot being said in there... one of the main things is about taking a leap of faith and leaving things behind... this is absolutely a track about social media, technology, and how they affect people in ways they don't know or understand... in this case, everyone is so wrapped up in their devices and social media that they cannot see what is going on around them... thus the blindfolds... notice, too, the colors used... when someone takes their blindfold off, the world lights up in the prettier colors of reality... the video was nominated for and won numerous awards back in 2017... - LA CINEFEST Semifinalist 2017 - Feel The Reel IFF, Audience Award October 2017 - Official Selection Austin Music Video Festival 2017 - Best Music Video Nominee Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 - I Filmmaker International Film Festival Official Selection 2017 - Best Script / Narrative Music Videos Pantalla de Cristal Festival 2017 - Best Music Video Around Films International Film Festival Barcelona April 2017 (not listed in any specific order) anyway, great reaction... yes, you're not the only one to be totally shocked at that one point in the video! 😹 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
