Last year in Baltimore we were very lucky to draw the 'golden ticket' and get XXI Century Blood on the setlist for the night - the first time they'd performed it live in over three years. It's crazy how well their early stuff still holds up.

This video struck close to home, because of my son’s near obsession with technology. Sitting on a bus stop bench with my son, he was laughing and texting. I ask who he was texting. He says, “My friend at school. He’s over there.” He points to the boy on the other side of the bench. I said, “OMG! The Warning was right!” He texts his friend, “I knew he was going to say that!” They both laughed and continued texting. Two weeks ago he made me proud. We both loved LEGO and attend conventions. He eventually grew out of it, but I kept at it. Last week my LEGO Blade Runner display was overshadowed and overlooked by LEGO displays of Ghostbusters and Stranger Things. My son put together a slideshow with his IPad and added technology to my LEGO display of Blade Runner. It attracted a lot of positive attentions and reviews. I told him I was proud of him and jokingly said that The Warning would be proud of how he used his ‘superpowers’. This video is more fun to watch now.

This was there very first official music video, and they did it an extremely observant, message-heavy short film that announced "We are the new blood of the 21st Century. We've been taking names and now we're going to start kicking ass!"

Yes, definitely a recurring theme of immersion in social media and how we drink in the “Kool-Aid” There is a line from a song that says “you’re my maker but you’re not my master”. There is hope for the next generation this very very old metal rock head fell in love with this band when I heard this because I had seen You Have been Warned their video from Ted X. A old rocker buddy sent me that video because he knows I love edgy in your face rock/ metal. But I hate kid acts, singers etc. sure there some talent out there but it’s not for me. My old biker rock friend said there’s hope for this new generation. Give it a listen! I did and I am hooked The Warning is the most talented rock band to come along in well over 20 years, and they self produced this album when they were 12 thru 15 years old. They keep just getting better! They are now signed with a major label but they have 100% control and say so to their creative properties. This is the song that hooked me. These ladies are just different. The giitar solo, fantastic. The lyrics, amazingly insightful for young teens. Video, award winning stuff right there. The guy jumping off the building? Well it is all metaphors, so it makes total sense. Glad you enjoyed it asmuch asamy of us did. I showed this to my family and the only comment i got was , " that drummer is amazing". I agree,but everything was amazing i thought.

This is what ROCK was created for. Young people expressing their views of the world they find themselves living in. The Warning should always be proud of their first ever music video. Awesome concept and lyrics, presented with a ton of attitude. The Warning helps me feel young. I am a huge fan and a proud patreon of theirs for more than 3 years. Having new music to look forward to and concerts to attend, makes me feel far younger than 65.

The Warning: Saving the world one reaction at a time.

I have been pointing out for a while the symbolism of jumping off the roof referring to unplugging and taking a scary leap into the unknown, and to discover that the danger was not real, doesn't kill you. Only now I realized the symbolism of the 2 people at the end, and how they are also awakened by his awakening actions.

Title track to their 1st album in 2017. 17 15 and 12 when released . Written and recorded a year or so before that. Ale had to miss sometime at school to record the album, she missed part of the 4TH GRADE.

I love your reactions, but this one was top tier. I have never seen any one react so spot on point and really getting the soul of the song. The solo Dany is delivering in this video is one of her very best and now it is accompanied by the very best reaction. My day is made.

The song and video are just amazing. The fact that it is seven years old, and does not yet have a million views is baffling. It tells a coherent story, with great visuals, and creates a cohesive whole with the song. It definitely deserves more attention.

You are 110% correct. They are incapable of writing a bad song. Brillant songwriters, beyond their time. This was released in 2017 when the girls were 12, 15 and 17, and probably written a year before that.

If these amazing women where around 30 years ago, they would dominate MTV. Their videos are the best I have seen. Something with a powerful meaning. Thank you ladies for bringing me back to rock.

I just got back from a week in the UK where I got to see The Warning twice. Both shows were just phenomenal and the ladies were so nice in the meet & greets. Definitely go see them whenever you can!

La música, la letra, el video y el mensaje que busca mandar la canción son absolutamente brillantes. A la edad que tenían en ese entonces ya mostraban una madurez impresionante y tenían un enfoque del mundo y como la inteligencia artificial y la tecnología se están apoderando del mundo. Lo que pasa al principio del video es la cruda realidad, los niños ya no salen a jugar, ya no hay interacción familiar y muchas costumbres que había antes se perdieron porque la gente prefiere estar pegada al teléfono y cualquier tipo de conversación hacerla por medios digitales, en vez de hacerlo personalmente. Hi Redheadedneighbor! That was a fantastic reaction! This video & song has a special place in my heart. "Enter Sandman" (2014) made me curious and TedX 2017 got my attention. But this one (the next YT recommendation) pushed me over the edge. A great song with a very much needed message packed in an incredible music video. Released when they were 17, 15 & 12! And the final shots make it pretty clear: The world should be warned, 'cause they're coming for it and won't take prisoners. Well, here we are now...7 years later...and they only got even better! Thank you again for your very exciting review of this "classic".

One of the things that got me hooked on The Warning is the context in their songs. If you look closely, you'll find that they make as many songs that have some sort of social commentary as they do songs that are about some love relationship thingy. Actually, they probably make more. Spoiler: If you haven't reviewed their video for the song Disciple it's one of their best. In it there are a lot of military ruling like portrayals as well as lyrics in the song being "Kill the man. Kill the system." Obviously, the minute you see it you're going to think it's referring to government ruling over the masses. Here's the genius of The Warning's song writing. It's only a metaphor. The song is actually about how society has been taken over by social media. The Warning use a lot of metaphors in their music. Most of what they write about, and their lyrics aren't to be taken at face value as they usually are more metaphorically speaking than literal, which makes their work just that much more great. Yeah, The Warning are rock and roll, but they're not all songs about partying hard and relationships. Also, most of their songs come from observations instead of personal experiences. They read a lot and many of the scenarios they write about have been developed via the things that they've read. Now their upcoming album is said to be songs about just what they're feeling about stuff and them just having fun with their music. Still those songs will be written using many metaphors and analogies. There's always a twist. It reflects on their intelligence and how they go about expressing themselves. Just another reason why The Warning are such an incredible band.

I request this song and the video to just about every reactor, including you, my dear Red. As an old fart the obsession with being connected to a phone or computer is beyond me as I watch this on my tablet. I had teachers back in middle and high school in the early seventies who had some strong opinions on the rise of technology taking over peoples lives. I see it today, I can't tell you how many times some dingbat on a cell phone has almost walked into me because they were preoccupied. That said, these young ladies, who were 17, 15, and 13 at the time, hit it out of the park. This is one of my favorites. You gotta remember I'm old enough to remember watching Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walking on the moon in July of 1969. In a spacecraft designed on paper with a slide rule and who's computer was less powerful than most cell phones today.

This is a concept started by Cheezyxyz and carried on by Muzic and flowersafterrainfall called The Warning Chain Reaction where reactors such as yourself suggest another reactor for TWA to flood and Warn!! Awesome

This song and album were written at the time of their TED talk. A must-watch to really understand their state of mind while composing their 1st Album. They definitely. Got off on the right foot.

This song is the one that cemented me as a fan! Wha? young teenage sisters writing music like this? And the lyrics! What a statement we all can relate to & appreciate it, no matter what your age is (72 here)! I see them becoming Rock legends and also see, in time, inducted into the Rock 'n Roll HOF!
