Cold Steel i didnt hear it from anyone. let me preface my question by stating this: I am a huge CS fan and own alot of your products. I am looking to get my first CS Katana and when i go to Kult of Athena’s website, each Cold Steel Product has a customer disclaimer that they will not accept any returns as they treat all CS Katana’s as blems and give several reasons why. It is clearly written under each Cold Steel Katana. Perhaps they are selling 2nd hand CS products? I am just looking for clarification so I know i am getting a CS Katana that are of quality and free of blems. Thanks in advance addressing my honest question.😘

never bought a "sword" from BudK that I didn't like and that wasn't sturdy as hell and that didn't surpass my expectations.

dayle davis for the scenario you described the Honshu Boshin lacks the same distal taper to which you speak of and is 200 dollars less. The only difference in steel is one is 1055 and one is 1060, both are through hardended. The boshin grip would last alot longer than this Dragon Forge....i mean CS katana. Did i burst your bubble that CS doesnt manufacture their own katana’s?
