I don't know that PG13 is really injury prone. Sine the 2013 season, except for the 2015 year, all his seasons were 70+ games per season except for the all but the last Clipper year. He played 77 games last year. My guess is that Kawhi was out a lot, so PG took time off, too as he already had a long term contract. Now, in a contract year, he plays 77 games and through the playoffs. Hmmmm
Kerr luckily has some new assistant coaches who can help him better utilize his players. If he doesn’t learn how to better use his bench, we can see Kerr gone and replaced. Great content Swish!
@@bobdrago69657 Exactly. He brought in 3 quality players, 2 are good defenders and one is one of the best shooters in the league, nabbed possibly one of the most underrated players of the draft whose almost built exactly like Lauri but younger and then they got an great defender with a high level IQ and sneaky athleticism in Reece. The coaches are a huge bonus, especially if you research and find out one of them was formerly the Blazers HC when Dame was in Portland lmao, he’s a good coach for offense, for defense? Some of his good defensive pieces couldn’t really shoot 3’s, let alone score so it made him seem like a shitty defense coach but with the warriors, he’s an OUTSTANDING fit because Curry is his Damian Lillard
‘sup Swish! The Dubs seem to be assembling a competent and professional squad. We still need a credible number two scorer. I am cautiously optimistic for this season. Sad, and also glad Klay moved on. I wish him the best in Dallas.
Nahhh. Klay hasn’t been productive since 2022. Too much nostalgia. The dude is a multimillionaire and lived life large beyond our everyday imagination. He whined too much and despite being treated like royalty, pouted and complained. Even a 50 million contract was insulting. Oh well.
@@bobdrago69657Interesting narrative. Personally, I respect his decision to work somewhere that doesn’t tax him to death while also not policing the city properly. I’m sure Dallas has its problems, but SF is a shithole. Also, he was still quite productive for us at times last year. Worth every penny.
Go all in on Quinten Post, a 7ft guy, Shoots 40% from 3..get him alajuan/shaq moves in the paint and make him WORK..work, work, work, WORK ( 5 times, like Rihanna says).
Your wish was answered. Philly was revealed as part of that 3 team trade alongside Minnesota which brings both Buddy and Kyle to the team. Buddy’s on a 4 yr contract (2yr, 3rd yr is not guaranteed and the 4th is a player option, kinda weird never heard sum like that) then yk Kyle’s on the team for 3 yrs
@@mura0 It's mainly mental fortitude but given what he lost, it was understandable. He needs a real motivator in his camp. At full capacity, Wiggs can duke it out at an all star level. His Luka poster's still a great reminder of what he can do when he's feelin' it.
Steph wont have that team mate that cannot be left alone by opposing team no matter what if he goes 0-10. Steph would often be in 2-3 opponents hounding him and there is no Klay there to watch out for.
@blacksharkpro3yt351 But Klay is no where near the player he was. Buddy heild is better then the present klay. Not to mention Klay was absolutely miserable, sulking around, bringing everyone down. I LOVED Klay but Hopefully with him gone the Warriors can go back to playing with that Joy they use to have that brought so much success.
The Wiggins contract situation sucks. I think the warriors need his defense capabilities, but we just don't know which Wiggins we will get on a daily-game basis. He's athletic and big enough to bother someone like Luka, which is definitely going to be needed. We saw this year in the playoffs of Mavs n tWolves, that Anderson and J McDaniels weren't enough to bother Luka. But paying Wiggins 26m/year is steep if he's not gonna be what he was in 22'
The Warriors seem to almost be having a competent off season with plenty of smart small moves to upgrade the roster. I don't even care whether they land a big star in a trade or even seriously make the playoffs the team should just be fun to watch with a more balanced roster and no Klank around to kill the momentum of games. I've never been so thankful that Joe hardballed a player in negotiations. The only way to stop Kerr relying on Klank was to make sure he wasn't on the roster.
I love Klay. I wish he coulda stayed but last season he did shoot us out of a few games taking bad shots. Having said that I would never disrespect him n call him klank. Real warriors fans still value him even with his bad year last year. I hope he does well but still hope the Mavs loose to the warriors in the playoffs 😂
@alasdairmacdonald9638 This is starting to remind me of the 2013-14 period when they already had the Big Three in place and made a bunch of roster-building acquisitions like the sign-and-trade for Iguodala, signing Marreese Speights, Shaun Livingston, Leandro Barbosa. None of them All-Stars (well, Iguodala did make it once), but solid role players who became key contributors to the championship runs. Had a good feeling then, and starting to feel the same now. As you say, they should be fun to watch this season, with or without a playoff run.
Yeah, I always liked Slo-Mo, he moves awkwardly slow, but it somehow works. He's long and plays the right way. Constantly finds himself in the right position to make plays. If GSW can get both Markkanen and Hield, they'll be back in business.
SloMo is a good glue guy that plays smart and isnt afraid to chew out people for messin up. If draymond sticks around, i see more punches being thrown.
Podz should come off bench for 2nd unit. As the 6th man. Starting 5 should be steph kuminga wiggs moody and draymond. Unless they sign a legit starting big man. Podz as 6th man. Then gp2 looney TJD and Kyle as the key rotational players. For now at least. Until the trades are done.
As with every pickup, how he will interact with Draymond is a big question. Without Klay Thompson, there could be increased scrutiny of Draymond Green, increasing his insecurity and resulting toxicity. As great of a pickup Kyle Anderson is, how will he get along with Draymond, beyond daps for the court side Rudy punch?
Kyle doesn’t need the ball on his hand as much to make meaningful contributions in the court. Draymond can continue to be the decision-maker. Kyle will cut, he can set really high screens, and be the second ball handler after the initial ball handler crosses half court, because he can put the ball on the floor and a really underrated passer. His last season with the wolves might not show it, but he is a really good shooter.
WTF?!! Bro I’m a Wolves fan! I love Kyle! But you’re losing your mind bro😂 OMG our offense would get into rotations off of ball movement and it would inevitably end up with Slo-Mo absolutely scared to death to shoot a three. Defenders absolutely would just stay off him and dare him to drive. It was ABSOLUTELY painful. Now he’s a great player to plug in during certain situations, and he very rarely makes a dumb play. He has great hands defensively (which is a necessity due to his lack of foot speed). But freeing up resources to get a more well balanced bench player, with 3 and D play making. The Wolves also recouped some draft capital, it sacrificed from previous trades. It had NOTHING to do with the Gobert dust up. 😂 this some delusional BS.😆 But hey, Wolves fans wish Kyle all the best. He was like a part of the family, and we will miss his presence and personality. Much love to Slo-Mo
Man hate anderson. Hes so underrated that people sleep on him, but i really hate playing against this guy. His game is so subtle that youd never realize you're losing until you are.
It’s the fact that people well hate. ANY team will hype up a roster change regardless, if they think it’ll benefit their team. And with both Klay and CP3 leaving, the Warriors not having really any draft picks and them missing out on stars, whomever they picked up is better than nothing. They just got Buddy Hield today who’s only half of what Klay was. He’s one of the best shooters in the league and he’ll definitely thrive in their system and then they got Anderson. People can shit talk Anderson all they want, but he was a key piece to the Wolves defense, he’s a very underrated playmaker, he can get into the paint and he’s got a high IQ. The only problem is, he doesn’t really shoot 3s lol. And De’Anthony, when healthy, is quite literally one of the most underrated defenders in the league, the man has put clamps on Steph himself, Harden, Klay, Trae Young, etc and he himself is capable of knocking down threes near consistently. They finally went and drafted a quality center who’s pretty much LIKE Lauri and he’s older than 22, which means he likely has decent experience to play center and hold his own.
my look on it is that these players are good but we need a second primary scorer for Steph, but I think people are forgetting what jk, podz, moody and even TJD did for the team there were games were we could have won but Klay was playing and not some of those guys.
Glad to see Klay out. Both for him and fans. He screwed up the rotation and fired donuts way too much. It's a business and he already got paid when injured.
I hope they don't change Santos. They need to keep him and let him learn in the system. I think Lacob and the other owners are listening to Kerr anymore. GS is building a team that can compete with the big boys, if they get Lauri, they will be scary depending on that players GS has to give up.
The Warriors are way better than most analyst and casuals think. The front office has been making great trades going to back to their roots and building out the depth. This might be a hit take, but I don't think we need Markannen like everyone wants. Markannen is a great player, but for what Ainge is asking, it is going to be a lateral move at best because he wants the farm. I think the Warriors should revisit the Zach Lavine trade, but trade Wiggins, Looney and GP2. The salary matches up pretty nicely. We get back a second scorer, money compensation and a first rounder. Seems like a no brainer to me to take a swing at Lavine.
@@_stavroulakis And on last 2 years Kerr used to give all star missions to role players, like Moody starting after 10 games with 0 minutes, Quinones starting coming from Gleague, both Quinones and Moody playing together on Clutch time and spewing together an easy win, while Curry was seeing everything from the bench because Kerr decide to rest him after he played 30 minutes. When is perfectly possible the most clutch player play on clutch time with 30 minutes... It´s just play a little less on Q1, Q2 and Q3... BTW, the best move for us should be Dun Leave...
Warriors are technically better without klay. They were better when klay came off the bench. Klay was behind the person he was defending majority of the time. The ball handler would just blow past him. He couldn't fight over screens and no longer has the closeout speed to fight under screens. Had that playing time gone to moody. Who was fast more consistent...I believe warriors would have had a better chance.... love klay though wish him best of luck.
Question: will Draymond punch this guy too? 😂 Be real, Dubs going nowhere. They're done. Steph gonna waste his remaining good years with whatever team they can assemble. Qualifying for the play-ins would be a successful season for them.
Since it's fixed anyway no moves will beat the Lakers James on his way out playing with his son. Although neither will be great they'll win because of the fix. Wait and see
Nope. Anderson is not going to help much. You are delusional if you think you can get Markkanen without giving up a lot of assets. Danny Ainge is yanking your chain. The Jazz will wait tell August 9th and try to work out a deal with Markkanen. Until then Utah can sit back fielding offers and watch the players that were offered have resentment to the Warriors, Ainge is playing you.
Personally I think Lauri is not who they should go for 😅. Instead they could get Dario Saric back and maybe try to get another big like Precious or Javale.
lol underrated? slow mo is just very mediocre, he's definitely not a piece of a championship team, maybe a bench player in a play in team, and his 3 year 27m also seems expensive, not a good pickup.
Swish, no disrespect, but Kyle Anderson wasn't worthy of producing a video highlight reel on, seriously. He's okay, but the fact that he's already changed teams twice, he carries very little value. I've told you before, a player only holds value with the team thst drafted him, once they are traded, there value plummets with each move. His value isn't what your projecting him to be. Stop locking in on that salary, it means nothing. This is a pure business move to get under the salary cap. The Warriors have been well over the luxury tax for years, but it was cool because they won the championship 2 years ago. They've sank to play in games and 8th seeds with this high payroll, it's time to downsize and move forward into the future.
Warriors will be irrelevant for years to come, they’ll be lucky to be a top 12 seed this year and they’re gonna regret not having Klay around to at least have a ride into the sunset with Steph and Dray. Warriors fans still delusional thinking they’re building something and gonna be better without their second best scorer who shot 39% from deep. Their fans are mostly bandwagoners who are gonna have to come back to reality. It’ll take time and be painful for them. Klay is on to better things to end his career.
