As a Commanders fan this is one of the best off season FA pick ups in the last 30 years.

Every video I see where he mentions the commanders it’s always to take a low blow on us but now our team has a new owner new GM new head coach that has brought in a great staff all around! With fantastic minds all wanting to do the same thing a great defensive coordinator in wit. we have the number two overall pick six pics in the top 100 and we have splashed a lot in free agency and we still have over 60 million in cap Space. Adam peters is spending money wisely, but not bargain bin shopping. If you’re still not convinced the commanders are trending upwards to becoming a Super Bowl contender you’re really sleeping on them.

Commanders fan here, I’m liking how the rebuild/retooling is going in FA pickups. The bright spot we got something for Sam and now he can get a change of scenery. Mariota as a backup for the money he is getting is a bit much, but it won’t break the bank. I’m pleased so far. High hopes.

Lifelong fan here. I LOVE what they have done. It’s different than any offseason I can remember. They didn’t spend big on a couple guys to make an unrealistic push for a championship in year 1. They signed solid starters and didnt break the bank leaving some cap for extensions next year. Very excited for the draft.

As a commanders fan I like that all of the moves they have made have the potential to have huge upside without having major downside risk. Probably the biggest risk was the Frankie Luvu signing, but that man played like a perennial pro bowler in Carolina and was still only 3 for 36. Plenty of room to be flexible going forward and make good decisions. Now all we need is THE GUY, and we are right in this thing.

i was surprised they got rid of Howell, he was leading the league in yards for the majority of the season. I think hes a bit underrated. But Washington has a ton of potential, I can understand wanting to start over. New coaching, new QB. I just wish they werent called the "Commanders" they shouldve gone with "Red Wolves" or something. Or kept the Redskins, one of the most legendary franchises in football.

Uhh isn’t the lessen of the past several years that to win a sb u either need mahomes or to do it in fa.(bucs, rams) I guess if u go further back the conclusion could be have mahomes or Brady or build like the rams or happen to have Nick foles as ur backup but that would kinda still mean for 31 of the teams the rams are the blueprint or just get lucky I guess.

The Curtis Samuel loss is a big blow. It seems like Dotson has been projected to be WR2 every year since being drafted, but Samuel is better every season. Hopefully Dotson has a good season with less competition for targets.

I think the consensus of being a back up is “easy” isn’t necessarily true, I can only imagine the amount of work they have to put in. Definitely as much as anyone on the team let alone the starter 😭

I like what the Commanders are doing in free agency. We used to over pay for has been stars that produced nothing here. Peters isn't going for the big flashy signing. Seems like he's going for leadership type guys to set the tone for the locker room. While not flashy, every player that Peters has brought in is an upgrade to what we had in that position. Except maybe QB, but Mariotta wasn't brought in to be a starter. Looking forward to the upcoming season for the first time in over two decades.

To be fair to the titans, they had a massive Ryan Tannehill contract at the time to deal with. Now they have a rookie scale QB contract so they have time to splash money around and cap space.
