I dig that this one. I wish it was thumb studs rather than a flipper. You keep reviewing what you like and who cares about the price point, its your channel, do what you love and love what you do!
The Miscreant 3.0 is my favorite from WE's new releases. Definitely one I want to get. As far as critics complaining about budget knife videos, I personally like them. Great video once again JT.
Cool knife. Good to have you back. The Urban Trapper is my favorite "gentlemen's" carry - so light. I've seen it get bad mouthed. I must've gotten a good one. 🤣 Lost it for couple weeks. Didn't even notice it was still in my pocket when I hung my trousers back in the closet.
Owning one Civivi at this point (Odium) and knowing how excellent it is, I imagine WE knives' all around quality has to be a number of degrees better! Looking forward to your big channel news soon!
Good review on a great looking knife. I avoided the Bokers. Handled a couple in store and as much as I like light knives, they were too flimsy. This one is perfect, I like the neutral handle for my big hands. I first saw the Boker Panchenko Gust in store last week. One of my favorite designs. It also has a neutral handle. I found your old review. A lot of conflicting info. It’s discoed now but everywhere says a heavy 5.1oz. But, some say the early ones were not milled out. The scales on mine are both heavily milled. I haven’t had a scale since the 80’s when we used to have to buy $300-$600 triple beam. Mine is heavy but feels more like 4.5oz or so. I’ll have to get a cheap scale. Good to see a new video
Like you, Id rather have the 3” Zinker version there. I have 5-6-4” blades but all on good, light for size knives. Still bigger then I like to carry. I’d love to see WE get a hold of the Boker Gust design. It deserves an upgrade. Great design as is the Zinker
As I'm watching, I'm trying to figure out why I've never proactively gone after a W.E. I've never even held one. The only reason I can think of is, their is certainly value in them, but not really value that I personally value, if that makes sense. They have plenty of designs I would love to check out, but they are to highly priced to grab, handle a bit and pass along. Maybe im not in the right groups but their doesn't seem to be the resale/trade value on them. I'm a lot more comfortable spending 200+, if I know I can sell/trade it almost instantly without taking a huge beating.
I just bought the black one, wish we had american prices in europe with knives.. €199, my most expensive knive so far. But a very nice subtile tool :) nice review!
Did WE give any different price in the blacked out non prototype version. I am not sure about those holes. I wouldn't want to get a finger caught then close it. With my luck that would happen. Enjoyed the review but I really like the budget stuff.
Naw, I have no info on price besides speculation. As for the holes, they're pretty small. I have fat fingers but I doubt it would really be a problem for anyone.
@@JTsKnifeLife damn that’s going to make ma decision even tougher now haha. Have you tried out the Peer? If so which would you recommend out of those two?
anyone notice the finishing on the final released product is nowhere near as nice as the one in this video? the stonewash on this one is so nice. the final product barely looks stonewashed
I just got this in the UK for £104 delivered with a email discount promotion from Lamnia, around $140. Not bad for 20CV and titanium as far as I'm concerned. 👍
