Unfortunately, my favorite studio no longer exists, it was Origin Systems with Ultima, Wing Commander, Strike Commander etc.; I also loved Lucas Arts / Lucasfilm in the 90s with the adventure and the Star Wars games of the time. Nowadays I don't have a favorite anymore, but there are many studios that make good games if they want to: Bioware, Capcom, Sony...

Reviews for this game range from “I understood the quality of this game after playing for a couple hours” to “The enemies are as smart as Doom enemies, the story feels like it was written by someone who hates EA, and the gameplay becomes as brain dead as Serious Sam”

Yes, there are some bugs and the enemies aren't particularly original, but the weapons are nice and overall the game is okay as a retro shooter experience.
