Legend of the fall is a brad Pitt movie. He's a bad ass in it! A total wild man that lives in the mountains. Before he is killed by a codiac bear he stabs it in the neck with big ass knife. So it will bleed out and die with him. Also he usually has music hit in the fall.

This song is essentially a message to his fans. Telling them who he’s become and that it’s their fault. A Starboy.

The song is basically about talking to himself and his fans (XOTWOD) "Look what you've done" is reference to the fans. "I'm a motherf*cking starboy" He's made it in the music industry and no one can replace him now that he's a star. He's basically showing how much swag he's got, just a braggadocios song if you ask me

Haha I don’t leave comments at all but I just had to tell you, only because I genuinely did not get this for the longest: cut that ivory into skinny pieces then she cleans it with her face = cutting coke into lines then snorting it The Brag Pitt line is in reference to brad Pitts movie, legends of the fall, which The Weeknd is self proclaimed as king of the fall, so it’s a bit of double entendre, saying the year that movie came out brad Pitt was at the turning point in his life making him a well known star as Abel believes he is at this point in his career. Star Trek roof in the wraith of khan = Star Trek movie: wrath of khan, play on words about the roof of his wraith looking like outer space Haha it’s mostly just him boasting about how well he’s been doing with a bunch of metaphors and references to high end “toys” that hasn’t even been released to the public at that point yet.

Natural Reactions Natural Reactions oh man that’s a good question. I’d say check out older stuff, from his trilogy era. I was a sophomore in high school when trilogy came out and I just remembering that entire class (and my school was huge!) only talking about that album. When senior year hit, he was one of the first to perform at this new arena close to our school and I just remember most of the senior class with me in the nosebleed section, on a Thursday night. The next day everyone just had “king of the fall” merch on and that was probably one of the only times that senior class bonded haha. A long anecdote to tell you, because of nostalgic reasons The house of balloons mixtape from the trilogy (it goes house of balloons, Thursday and echoes of silence) was by far my favorite. (Although you can tell he wasn’t in a great head space. It’s his recent stuff that’s more catchy and poppy and even radio friendly (and then you can kind of see him coming full circle in his latest release, basically saying he used to be sad and heartless then he fell for someone and was happy and sappy and then says nope I change my mind I’m back to my old ways idc anymore) High for this, house of balloons/ glass table girls, the morning, wicked games, the party & the after party, coming down - those will always be my favorite. Music video wise, the hills has really great shots and a shit ton of symbolism, I think there’s even a virtual reality video for the remix with Eminem, which was super cool. I can’t feel my face has serious MJ vibes. false alarm also had a really cool music video - very action packed and one of my faves to watch. Also, I just think it’s super funny, but his live performance of starboy at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, as his ex girlfriend, bella hadid, walks by was just a moment in history lmao. Ahh that was super long, thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Currently studying Daft Punk for my A-Level music exams. They’re a band known for experimenting with technology and creating electronic music. Popular songs by them are One More Time, Get Lucky ft. Pharell Williams and Harder Better Faster Stronger

You should do some Daft Punk reactions! You've likely heard many of their songs but Daft Punk stay out of the media to maintain their privacy which leads to a lot of people forgetting they exist. They take long hiatuses too which gives them soooo much allure. If Daft Punk so much ad breath, electronic music fans go crazy. They started their career in the 90's doing Techno and House music with a French twist which basically created a new genre. They moved to a more disco-house style with their second album (2001). Third album (2005) was less well received, 2006/2007 they revolutionized the electronic music scene with their Alive Tour. In 2009 they won 2 Grammy Awards. In 2010 they did the score for the film Tron: Legacy. In 2013 they released their 4th album which won 5 Grammy Awards. By this point they are making a type of music which is hard to categorize because it is so diverse. Since then they've barely done anything. When promoting their music they appear as gold and silver robots. Pretty iconic. Here's a list if their most popular songs: Da Funk (1995), Around the World (1997), One More Time (2000), Digital Love (2001), Harder Better Faster Stronger (2001), Something About Us (2001), Face to Face (2001), Technologic (2005), Robot Rock (2005), Harder Better Faster Stronger (Alive 2007), Get Lucky (2013), Instant Crush (2013), Touch (2013), Giorgio by Moroder (2013).
