Thanks for the great lesson! I’ve always liked this song. Also looking forward to trying the walk down. Bm will be the toughest challenge. Going to give the easy option a try. Thanks Lauren.
Lauren, I love coming back to your videos. They're so encouraging and easy to follow. Thanks for your enthusiasm... it's infectious and makes me run to pick up my guitar. I've used your vids to learn quite a few songs in my repertoire. You're amazing!
Thanks you so much. My jam group plays this as a closing song in open G but all the tab and other tutorials play it in A and the walk down was giving me trouble in transposing
Great lesson! You are teaching the song in a different key than most other lessons I've seen for this song. Is that to make it a little easier for beginners?
Hello Lauren and thank you for this classic song and great methodology! I was wondering how your Crafter sounds and if could let me know the model and strings that you are using ? Following 😊
Lauren Bateman, I'm just in the end process of rejuvenating my late brother's mid to late '60s Regal Jumbo Western guitar It's also the guitar I learned how to play on when I was about 14 or 15 yrs old. I've had to replace the bridge which had split and partially pulled off the sound board, plus fix a major crack and a few less major cracks on the back and some smaller cracks on the sound board. I haven't played in almost 20 yrs. I'm going to start playing again and my hands, especially my left hand seems to have gained a mind of it's own. So, I'm having to relearn again everything I forgot and learn that which I never knew. This is my progress up to date on a guitar forum: www.projectguitar.com/forums/topic/51922-saddle-distance/ I have never done anything like this and I have found that I like it a lot. Anyway you and your "easy lessons for beginners" have inspired me to try to learn again so I can hear my brother's guitar sing again. It's like a small tribute to him and memories that I have playing it. Thank you for your Ytube videos. If I could afford it I would get your instructions on your webpage, but alas that's not possible. Again, thank you for your lessons and step by step approach. You absolutely rock. (real rock :) ) Ron
Awww this is so amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I'm glad you are getting back into it. You will get back in the groove. I know it! So glad to help 😎🎶🎸
