@@Unlucky1776 No, the box costs. Search ziicube, i think, the 20 magnet super weilong is like 55$ (without that box, but i think with the wristband) and the 20 magnet v9 is 45$?
This seems like a legitimate upgrade from the v9 which I currently use, but the reason I will probably not buy it is because I know moyu is probably going to release the V10 in less than 6 months. Also to be perfectly honest, at this point the technology is so good that each iteration has diminishing returns. You almost got me this time moyu, but if you want my money, you're going to have to put out a new 4x4 and 5x5; both with core magnets.
I swear my toxic trait is buying every flagship incase it might be better for me than my current main 😂😂. Got the standard bc V9 and the special edition one too. I main neither of those rn. So this is another one added to the list along with the super Weilong and a whole bunch of others too 😂
The magnets on the corner actually are smaller than the ones in the BC v9, they're 3x2mm like the ones in the SE v9. So Jesse is right anf that's one of the reasons why it's less snappy.
I kid you not, when we started putting magnets in the edges for the ball core I actually thought of this idea. I never knew if it would work but I guess it does. Apparently MoYu is smart enough to do this but still has the old adjustment system
In the tornado v3 and new fan cubes, there are discrete options for the spring tension and screw depth, which lets you get the springs the same on all sides, while moyu still has a screw in the middle which needs a screwdriver

Moyu: "Give us money" Me: "No" Moyu: "We released a better cube" Me: "Ok fine" **buys** Moyu: "Lol we just released an even better one now lmao get rekt"
so is this the wrm v10 because the super Weilong wasn’t a wrm cube i think but it’s the weilong v11 because the super weilong was a weilong so is it the “Moyu Weilong v11 WRM v10 20 magnet ballcore uv maglev”?
The original WR-M V9 Ballcore UV is my main and has been so since early autumn 2023. So yeaaaah, I guess I'm buying this just to see how it compares to the original one, because the original is so superior that I'm curious. What I'm worried about is how the magnet and core system looks like in videos, because I'm thinking it looks a bit fragile. I'm also wondering if auto homing is even more insane than on the original V9 Ballcore, which already surpasses the legandary GAN 12 UV in this respect... which would mean that has to be able to telepathically move. Which is of course unlikely... not impossible, but unlikely...
@TheCubicle what do you think, what will happen first? (I assume that the super wei is the v10) V11 then super wei v2 Or super wei v2 then v12? Would you like if the v9 20 magnet ballcore would have a red internal? What do you think about not having a Center travel setting, but the manufacturer would set that to the perfect amount to just have the best cornercut and not popping easily and having hardly twistable corners, but having not 5 or 9 compression settings, but more? Because the same center travel setting feels slower and more controllable with a comperssed cube, but having the cornercut, and not compressed cube feels faster but not more easily pop able? Do you think that 20 magnet will be the winner amongst cubers and manufacturers? If yes, which will announce their 20 magnet cube first after MoYu?
It's 2024 and Moyu still has not update their dual-adjustment system. It's so annoying just to line up the screw exactly the same 6 TIMES, and overtime the screws in the cube can get rusty. Come on Moyu, Gan has do it long time ago, Qiyi has done it too, where're you at?
The RS3M 2020 at $9 has the same adjustment system as their $100 flagship. Metaphorically this is basically like a budget and flagship phone having the same CPU. Ridiculous, isn’t it?
picube special edition vs this one which one feels better? I have a normal v9 and irs too fast and I want upgrade. but can't decide since I think picube special edition doesn't have edge repeling magnets which you said felt better and more controlable also springs both things id like. but now I wonder if this is the same if i put springs or just leave male but WILL have the edge repelling magnets. you tries both can you say what feels best please? also if any other can help pls
Depends on what you are looking for. I do like stronger magnets but the v9's are just TOO strong for me and I prefer the 20 magnet ones. To be more precise, I like the corner magnets from the v9 and the edge magnets from the 20 magnet one. Maybe Moyu is doing this on purpose, so people will end up going for the Super which has customizable magnets (I am defo not paying that silly amount of money though, I am totally ok with my 20 mag one). The 20 mag one is better for long sessions, the v9 is more impressive with it's pronounced magnets and snappy turn, yet I get tired pretty fast as it requires more strength to turn (during M moves / scrambles and BTW I 'fidget scramble' even when reading emails or watching TV).
is it smoother than the wrm v9 and is it clackier and is its auto homing stronger and is it better for a cuber that likes smooth and fast cubes pls answer asap

When did became a $48 3x3 "not extremately expensive"? Just because now there are cubes for $80-90? For that price you can buy the best 7x7 you can find. There's no way a 3x3 cost half the money to produce compared to a 7x7, no matter how many "features" it has. Not too long ago, the best speedcubes where $15-20, I think some brands are taking advantadge of the fact that the majority of their clients are children. Nobody needs a cube like this, except for professionals, you can averadge the same times with a dayan pro m, and rs3, or even a top cube from 5 years ago. I hope, in a near future, this trend of adding innecesary things to cubes in order to justify absurdly high prices ends.
By your own statement "except for professionals." There are tons of quality cubes, stickerless, with magnets, under $15 or even $10. It'd be akin to complaining "The performance sports cars cost 10x the price of a decent SUV! The average person can't afford that!" the average person isn't going to afford that, nor do they need to. Yes, there's a lot of children getting into cubing, but to say majority of the clients are children is a stretch. Do I think that's a valid excuse for the inflation of prices? Of course not, but demand breeds innovation, innovation breeds money, and money breeds demand.
@@dmr778810 I think we're past the point of innovation. Now companies only try to add more things to 3x3's (you only have to see the names of the cubes to realize it) to charge more money for them. I don't even think a top speedcuber needs those things to get the same times, but as I could be wrong, I mentioned it (even though we're talking about improving in the order of ~0.1 sec). For me it's sad to see young cubers buying a Gan/Moyu cubes for $30-40 or more, that's a lot of money. They would be most likely fine with a $10-15 cube. It's the marketing of "a cube with ballcore maglev UV coating..." what makes them believe those things are useful when theyr'e not. And on top of that, they doesn't worth that much money. Most cubers are kids, you don't see many 30+ year old at competitions, on reddit/cubers, or doing videos on youtube, their market are children. Companies are trying to squize all the money they can from them.
Maglev and full ballcore, what can we do to make it more mordern and better😅.Unlike Gan, Moyu releases too many cubes with many different prices, so what will happen if cuber just buy the best once with reasonable price( not Gan of course). It is a challenge for designer of Gan and Moyu to make something diferent and revolutionary.
