I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt and saying that he is very allergic to cats which would justify his level of caution otherwise he is just very bad at reading a cat’s body language lol
Or he has an irrational fear of cats. I know someone who does. It’s considered pretty normal to have a fear of other mundane things like garden snakes.
@@sourdough6653 I know a few people who are scared of cats. TBF tho, my aunt was only terrified of cats coz my grandfather’s cat bit her when she was a kid. This guy might have the very understandable fear that the cat just wants someone to open the door so he/she can stare at the doorway undecidedly for a while lol
the reason he jumped is Electric garage doors have a safety feature that is sensors at the bottom that's like a laser trip wire. so that way when it's shutting and if anything breaks the laser it will open back up.

The reason the man jumped while trying to go out of the garage is because there is a senser and he was trying to go over it so the door didn't go back up when the senser is tripped.

5:58 He jump because there’s a sensor by the door so if anything crosses over it the garage would open up so it doesn’t try closing on something and possibly break so he tried to jump over the sensor put hit the door coming down on him which let to him falling on the sensor and re opening the door anyway

Man jumped because of the sensor... If anything breaks the lasers connection coming out of the machine it’ll trigger the door to go back up so that it doesn’t crush anyone. Ngl, kinda brain dead for not knowing that one.
The reason the guy jumped when he was going out of his garage is so that his feet didn't catch the motion laser at the bottom, because the motion sensor stops the door from closing if you trigger it.
