Aeroflot (or how it named), is a real russian flight company, that still running to this day. they have pretty nice flights, i flied there alot becouse my family loves travelling.

4:53 they show them in Russian airport terminals before you even enter the plane. Once you're inside the plane, flight attendants demonstrate safety procedures while accompanied by audio.

0:46 RGB projectors and CRT screens, so everyone had to watch the same show. Edit: I was on the same or similar model of aircraft but on a Qantas domestic flight back in 2010 (probably an A310 or A320), which had the same configuration for its in-flight entertainment and yeah, it was like that. Multiple audio programmes, but just one video. We had the in-flight safety video, then the news, and then some movie or two.

Sorry for the late reply. EDIT: like another individual commented earlier, they never showed these safety films onboard. Because there were no LCD screens and the large foldout screen was only used mid flight on long distance flights to show the single movie. Instead, flight attendants standing at the front of each section, would demonstrate how the inflatable lifevest worked and how to put on the oxygen masks. As a kid, I flew in the late 1970s with my family and I can comfirm: 1) smoking was allowed, but they had seperate sections for that (there must have been a lot of smokers!); 2) no LCD screens (I remember when the first laptops appeared with colour (TFT-lcd), prior to that, only monochrome LCDs) so in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s, people had to make do with the one movie they showed on long distance flights. The one I remember is "Death on the Nile (1978)" *Re: seperate smoking sections* I can only imagine that if someone ordered a 'smoking' seat but they were all sold out, he/she would have to sit in the non-smoking section. Then in mid-flight, when you were allowed to move about, that passenger could walk over to the smoking section to light up.
