I had Nintendogs, Monkeyz House, and a very similar game, Catz Clan. In the latter, I learned a disturbing thing about cats. You see, I had a mother and her son and the affection was maxed out between them. I thought nothing of it and aged him up to adult. I then watched in horror and confusion as the two proceeded to make a baby. That was the day I learned that in the feline world, family or not, everyone's fair game.

What i think Large actually said, trying to listen harder: "Today I'm feeling ~aloha~" sounds exactly like how everyone else heard it "I'm so getting pissed" is really hard to discern. Sounds like "I'm stronger than this" or "I'm strong and in peace" "You f***ed my again" = "You stopped by again" "You look really hot." = "You worked really hard"

My favourite lesser known Virtual Pet game is Petz Fantasy, where you get to take care of 20 different Creatures of 4 elements (Flight, Speed, Ice and Fire). When you filled your pets requirements (Play, Feed and Wash) you get to go to a magic dimension to play an Elemental minigame The game is loads of fun 😃

My first pet game was Horsez 2 on the DS, and it was deeply traumatizing because at the end of the story mode your rival decides to commit arson and set your barn on fire, and the game devs decide that an appropriate reaction to this is to insert a “fun mini game” where you have to put out the fire as your horses, who are trapped inside, are screaming in terror.

Did you know that In the past the female color was blue and the male color was pink. Blue was considered a more calm and delicate color while pink was considered more intense and strong. Idk why they changed it, the past colors were totally reasonable! But it was a LONG time ago and I DO NOT think video games existed 🥲

The parrot's story sounds a lot like the Japanese legend of Momotaro-san. An old Japanese couple found a giant peach in the river near their house and took it home to eat, but when the cut it open there was a baby boy inside. They named the boy Momotaro which I think has something to do with peaches. When he was older, around young adult age, a nearby island of Oni (Japanese word for demons) started attacking Japan, so Momotaro decided to go fight the Oni. On the way he met and befriended a dog, a bird, and a monkey and through The Power of Friendship (tm) they were able to defeat the Oni. It's a pretty popular legend. @I'm gonna say the n word Momotaro is a Japanese myth about an elderly couple finding a giant peach floating down the river. When they open the peach to eat it, a baby boy is found inside. They raise him, and when he grows up, he decides to save his village from an island of monsters/ogres. He meets a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant on his journey, and they team up to defeat the ogres, save the kidnapped villagers, and take them and all the treasure they can carry home. The myth gained a bit of popularity in Japan during World War 2 (take a guess who the ogres were meant to represent). There is another myth in Japan about Princess Kaguya, who was raised by an elderly couple after finding her inside a bamboo stalk.

It actually took two years for me to realize that the story thing from parrot pals was (either inspired by or similar to) the mythof Momotaro, a japanese child that came out of a peach and attacked a bunch or oni with his friends, that being a dog,a monkey, and a pheasant.

That weird story you taught Large to speak was like a weird choppy version of Momotaro, who came out of a peach that his mother found while out in a bamboo forest. It’s largely attributed to being popularized in World War Two which makes it was more confusing why it’s in this game and why a bird needs to know it
