The Weirdest Pet I've Had: Nezuko 

with how long Nezuko sleeps in the anime (she sleeps for 2 whole years) makes the name even more fitting.

I'd never thought that there was such thing as a dog scorpion until now.

I actually used catch rolly pollys and put them in plastic containers to keep them as pets but I never new what to feed them.

I feel the pain with the hibernation haha, when my hermit crabs molt they basically do the same thing and I won’t see them for a few months.

I have a vinegaroon that has kept herself buried in a underground chamber for at least 8 months now. I'm not sure I can call it hibernation, as if I shine a light under the enclosure's glass bottom I can still see her and she'll move around, but she's alive and still looks quite fat (she had a big meal before this all started) so I just have to trust she'll come out of the burrow when she is ready. One thing that is clear is that feeding a vinegaroon every week is not necessary, basically it is a good idea to wait until their abdomen has shrunk a fair amount from a previous feeding. I was feeding every two weeks back when she was active on the surface.

I wonder if Nezi wants fresh water only 🤔. Like, she's telling you that once the water sits for days it taste like 💩 (mud). Maybe in nature they only drink when it rains or from running water sources. Maybe adding a filtering apartus to her dish will stop her from filling it with dirt.

This is honestly one of the most wholesome videos I've seen from yongyoung 🥰 I'll be honest I never watched Demon Slayer (sorry) but Nezuko honestly fits well, sleeps, goes crazy, (in her demonic form), scary from the outside but cute and wholesome in the inside, ect. I have had multiple times where my hermit crabs have filled their water and food bowls with dirt and sand. So you are not the only person who has a pet that does that.

It's cool that you found something that lives for so long, I imagine as an invertebrate keeper it must get tiring having so many pets come and go because so many species have short lifespans.

I keep a several types of millipedes, and a several types of isopods as pets. One of my isopod colonies was started from around 15 wild common pill bugs (granite morph). 2+ years later and I'm starting to see peach colored pill bugs!
