I remember when I was a kid and really disliked how it seemed there way no way to replay the castles or fortresses in Super Mario World. I still remember when I also discovered by chance that I was able to access them again by pressing the L and R buttons together, and I was delighted.

Regarding weird things..As a kid I remember in SMB 3 and SMW, by getting off screen and get back in or whatever, you can get behind background objects 🤔 Technically bypassing enemies and obstacles afaIk. Example is actually shown by characters on the Start screen of SMB3😶‍🌫️🐢
