Real Madrid signed Joselu because they didn't have a striker and he's worked out really well for them. City signed Kovacic for cheap, Arsenal signed Jorginho for 15mil and he's played a bit part for them too. Liverpool got Endu for 16m and he's been really important for them. Having consistent high level squad players that do very specific things really well is just as important as getting your superstar signings correct.

Yes, I do, but he & Emerson are seriously underrated in their role in the squad & for what they contributed in 2024. It takes a squad to build a team. Add PEH & you have positive professionals that ensure the place is not toxic. Ben Davis will be a quality manager in time. Kulu is 23 & his wife is expecting, Brennan is on fire, so it is not surprising he is not at 100%. Attitude & application of all of these are first rate & deserve more respect than shuffling around the sporting chessboard. I understand the ruthlessness of the game, but none of these are deadwood (a term that I despise). At worst, they are no longer at the level that the club needs to be at, however I do hink that Ben Davis should spell Udogie as he has been poor for a while.
