Getting ready to tackle the challenge in less than 4 weeks, so your vid was a real inspiration. My first "run" over 80km at the age of 60, so just aiming to finish! Thank you.

Hey David I've been catching up on some of your vlogs and i must say they are inspirational. Well done some really great achievements along the way. I will be running the Glasgow to Edinburgh ultra in just over 6 weeks time. Took some good points from your vlog along the way. I read in the comments you have a young family. Cherish that time with them they aren't that young forever.

Nice vid. Completed the race in 2017 (very slow) and my wife and I were part of the marshalling team at Lundavra in 2018!

Thanks for the comment Norrie, the race seems like a lifetime ago now for me but it's nice to see that the strong "family" ethos still rings true for those who have been involved in anyway.

Thanks Mark, I've been following the race this year too but from the comfort of the house. Maybe I'll make it back to the race in the future in the meantime there's plenty of other challenges to be had in life!

Great race vlog and great effort on the run. Time to start at the beginning of your video series now. A long term goal of mine is to run the WHW! Just subbed your channel. Hope you keep sharing future training and races 👍

Thanks David. It took me 4 years and 10 other ultra marathons to make it to that day. I learned a lot about running and life along the way. Hope you have as enriching journey too!

I don't doubt that for a second. I took my first baby steps into ultra marathons in October at the Ultra Tour of Edinburgh. Really enjoyed the experience. I have a couple earmarked for 2019. Do you have plans for doing more? Multi day events?

@@davidjamieson3876 Maybe (hopefully) one day but we have a young family so that's where I like to spend my time at the moment. Perhaps I'll go back to basics and move back up through the distances again, I've still got some good half and marathon times in me i'm sure! :-)
