I didn't think that wheelock was going to be able to pull off synchronization with LED's! Thats pretty neat. Takes a while to get used to the longer strobe flashes!
They actually installed the remote strobe version in the restroom of our local mall's Popeye's Fried Chicken, replacing a damaged EST Genesis remote strobe. (For some reason, though the mall has had a Notifier system since the 90s, some stores had EST Genesis signals installed with BG-12 pulls.)
I sometimes wonder if any future modifications in our building where I work will have these. I know right now our 2nd floor expansion as well as the Golf store and our third floor modifications have the original Wheelock exceder and the latest modification which is the Big Lots has the white roof mounted exceders. Primarily the building has the Radionics D503S except when doing modifications throughout the building especially the 2nd floor they installed Wheelock ASs in 2 of the offices which now are both vacant. And hopefully the office I work in isnt the only office to have the Radionics D503S signals and the office of child support has some of them along with Wheelock ASs. But at this point there is no telling how long we will be in this particular building the way the property management jerks us around.
I think the NS was one of the best looking alarms, it could fit in almost anywhere. And in places where the NS would not fit, the AS would. (like a home depot or something) Wheelock should have just kept the NS/AS designs and gave them more modern features like rotating candela/volume selectors and snap on mounting plates.
