Jeong Jeong VS. P'li will be a tough match Jeong Jeong's fire walls can resist powerful fire blasts. His fire wall during the Sozin's comet was able to resist 2-4 fire blasts (which are all powered by Sozin's comet) and he was able to control that wall into charging against a lot of fire nation battle tanks. Jeong Jeong's main ability is turning a good defense into an unstoppable offense. Note that there's a bit of a difference between his fireball on the river and the one from Sozin's comet. On the river, he focused on blocking Zhao's fleet, so he had to make it a bit thinner but wider. On comet, it is much more thicker but only covered small width. Jeong Jeong can manipulate his firewall into how he wants it, using the arguement that it was because of Sozin's comet that he was able to firebend like that is not even a match up. Sozin's comet will only boost a firebender's power, but not manipulation and intelligence, a thing that Jeong Jeong can do without the comet. Meaning he's most likely able to manipulate his wide firewall into a much more thicker but less wide fireball with the only difference is a bit of a loss on power. P'li's (wow a lot of apostrophes) combustion bending proves that she's an immovable offensive battle freak. Her offense is just pure power. But her main weakness is her vulnerability when it comes to defending her battleground. She can produce a bunch of fireblasts on a mere second but she was ultimately beaten up by her own defensive flaw as seen as she can't defend herself much. Jeonh Jeong's defense vs P'li's offense - Likely Jeong Jeong because if he just controls his wide firewall into a thicket but less wider firewall, he can win. P'li's attack speed would be a thing tho', but Jeong Jeong's restraint and even a waterbender-like firebender essence helps him to take control over his area of battle. Jeong Jeong can make up a lot of firewalls coming on P'li's way and control the battlefield like a chess board. Yes, P'li might be able to dodge that firewall, but Jeong Jeong can actually fly (He was poweted by comet that time, but comet only boosts what is already there, like if you have a lightning, it will only boost it, but if you don't, there's nothing to boost) making sure that Jeong Jeong can actively summon fire on all directions to go against P'li. Another point, Jeong Jeong can summon fire even if it's not coming from his own body (he's the only one who can do that), giving him an even more advantage into controling the battle field. The difference between them is their intelligence, Jeong Jeong just stretches wider while P'li is limited on combustion bending alone (She can still firebend tho') while JJ mastered firebending and even used a water-bender style into producing his flames. It's a very tough fight, but Jeong Jeong's intelligence will get P'li for sure.

I'd love to see Ty Lee as an Airbender once Harmonic Convergence happened and she'd have to to face off Zaheer who wouldn't know how to beat her because Ty Lee's so agile on her feet and is an acrobat since she joined a circus 🎪 🤡 and moves quite like an Airbender.

I think the average bender is stronger by the time of Korra, but the masters in ATLA generally outclass the masters of Korra by a lot. They saw a lot more combat and had real experience. Except for waterbenders, there weren’t really many good waterbenders in ATLA because of how bad they got destroyed. And Aang is so absurdly good of an airbender that he beats anyone from Korra. Tenzin is by far the strongest airbender in Korra and aang was hands down way better than even him.

You dont even need to do these comparisons to know white lotus would win. Atla is filled with benders who are all prodigies in their own way and battle tested theough years of experience. I look at this as a bruce lee vs ip man type of feel. White lotus being the masters and red lotus the students like bruce was to ip man. The students showed how thwy can get it done with more than just the traditional ways of bending like bruce has done making his own style but he has not beaten his own master. The only master the red lotus fought was tenzin and he bodied their leader before they jumped him. Basically, if its group vs group, white lotus wins, they only way red can win is due to isolating the matchups in the video but i believe the white lotus is smart enough to know that they will have to switch the matchups to work in their favor

Feat wise the red lotus. Iroh and jeong Jeong barely have feats. And Zhao was able to block Iroh attacks and get in Jeong Jeong fire wall. The white lotus members are overrated when you look at their on screen feats. Maybe Pakku beats Ghazan with water though. And Pli is op as a combustion bender. You guys voting for WL because you guys like them Only Bumi and kind of master Pakku has feats. The WL members are feat-less.

This is the biggest underestimating of Jeong Jeong I ever saw! Jeong Jeong can't hold his own against Pli'i because she's a combustion bender? Zuko held his own against a direct short-range blast from combustion man you know, and it take a slight hit to the head of a combustion bender to disoriented their bending. Revisit your analysis of Jeong Jeong. Dude can take on almost every forebender. I consider him one of very few who can take down Ozai at his prime and that short list doesn't include the likes of Pli'i. If there's a followup to this comment, I'll share why I think so

Paku loses to anyone on the Red Lotus he just cant keep up. Ghazan turns all the earth Bumi uses into bendable lava, yes he's not immune to it himself but since when has that been a problem? He literally only lost because another lavabender was countering his attacks. Jeong Jeong cant defend against p'li for too long like you stated. Iroh loses when he gets jumped just like Tenzin did. Ironically Piandao would be the wildcard, but the Red Lotus should then also get Unalaq, who is arguably one of the best waterbenders we have ever seen. Red Lotus wins but I get it, atla is holy
