In the books, Elizabeth Woodville and her husband Edward loved their daughters very much. Yes, more importance was given to the sons, because they were the heirs, but there was a lot of love and care for their girls.

No it is from the “White Queen”-they keep changing the cast. Wish Jodie Comer had been in the “White Queen”. It is hard to go from one actress to another especially as the time element is 3 days.

@@sandranorman5469 | Keep in mind "The White Queen" and "The White Princess" was made in 2013 and 2017, respectively. Jodie Comer was still paying her dues as an actress in 2013. I understand a TV viewer's need for continuity. But since four years had passed between the two miniseries, recasts are necessary because the previous actors are no longer available.

@@lucythompson295 it was rumoured so Philippa Gregory just realised it for dramatic effect. However it was unlikely they had an affair. She simply could’ve been a favourite niece and someone got the wrong idea!

@@5iveshot170 it would be more call it slander. I say it didn’t happen because, well, the likelihood of it happening is basically on the floor. There is no historical evidence for it in any way aside from court slander against Richard. I’m aware she played it up for dramatic effect.

All the good writing, attention to detail etc from the white Queen went out the window with this trash series. Never in a million years would soldiers barge into the Queen to be’s house and threaten her.. Henry Tudor had sworn a holy vow to marry Elizabeth he wouldn’t have had men go and threaten to drag her by the hair to London.
