I have to explain Romans 1:18-32 on Thursday night for Bible Study. I just started to really study the Bible in 2019. Each person in our class has a chapter to study and explain to the class. Thank you. I've never heard it preached that the rampant sexuality homosexuality in our society is actually the judgment of God and yet it says it right there in the word! My women's Bible study group here in CA has just started studying Romans. So grateful to God for leading me to your sermons on it. Yee haw! God is good! Applications: 1) ask God to examine your heart to any sin, confess what He shows you 2) intercede on behalf of your country confessing their sin and ask God to work as if it’s your sin too. We see O.T characters do this such as Nehemiah. Excellent exegetical preaching. New to me was this passage is much wider sins than what we typically focus on and thuss may “excuse”ourselves from. And second we are being judged because of what we see in our culture and must repent.
Antiques Roadshow had an episode where an attendee spoke about his "husband" during the segment. A person in the comment section said how sad that was, and was crucified in the replies. Big surprise, Eh? "But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned to be their Enemy, and Himself fought against them." Isaiah 63:10
It’s interesting that when pastors talk about these verses- they always seem to forget about divorce. Divorce would be an impurity also. Pastors don’t speak about divorce because they’re afraid how their congregation is going to react.
My Pastor preached about this last night. Sad part is I see this happenin to some1 I witnessed to, who deliberately & is deliberately rejecting God, even after God has shown them signs. It's very scary & sad to watch some1 spiral down without caring.
