I need prayer, I am in the hospital because of mental illness but only because I am going through a traumatic experience in my life right now. It’s affecting my marriage, my jobs, my family, and most importantly myself. I am on the verge of just losing all hope but now that I’m at my all time low, I prayed and asked god to get me out of this hole. To save me and take me whereever he wants. I believe God created doctors for reason and sometimes the healing comes in the form of a pill. There is no shame if you need to take meds. Just like there is no shame if a person with high blood pressure must take meds.

My brother has schizophrenia most of his life, I finally got him in a nursing home where he finally started taking his medicine, he started getting better but theirs another part with paranoid schizophrenia is the anxiety that will be triggered when weather changes, i believe it has to be the difference in pressure change that triggers my brother anxiety. I've told the nursing home about this and now agree it happens with the whole nursing home when the weather changes.
Fasting and prayer and living by the Word does wonders to snuff out anxiety, depression, suicide. The Word is the only deliverance from all these things. The answer is right there for us, submit and turn to Him, He will turn to you and heal you but we must get our scriptural house in order. Obedience to His Commands and statutes benefit US!! Learn to get worthy in His sight and be found righteous so your prayer may be heard. Love Him enough to never want to sin against Him. He shows up for His people EVERYTIME. You might as well give in and be blessed, healed and kept save! Scripture was my prescription.
Thank you. I have Dissociative Identity Disorder And Borderline personality disorder. So 2 personality disorders plus a whole line of other diagnosis. I got these from a lot of trauma. And I have to say my spiritual life has definitely been impacted. This message helped me go from blaming God to accepting His love to help me out. I have lost hope but I found hope again, not in my mental nor physical health but in God. He is great and I trust He will turn what the enemy went to evil and turn it to good.

Pastor, I’ve been a worship pastor for over 25 years, I have a daughter that struggles with psychosis, anxiety and depression, my oldest daughter has anxiety and fibromyalgia, currently my daughter are not walking w God. If you prayed and asked God to heal her and she didn't get healed, it's because you don't have faith. God's power must have fizzled away,he just can't heal her. Pastor i suffer from schizophrenia since 1990. Am stable on medication but have the last few months developed side effects called tardive dyskinesia. Unable to chew and swallow solid food. Ballance also very bad. Everyone is saying testifying that jesus christ heales them of schizophrenia. Please pray for healing

And i will pray for you too However i will remind you, some stuff like depression etc is actually coz something in their emotions are unfulfilled How your relationship with your daughter? I dont mean it as condemnation so you will lose faith in God but sometimes the dynamic of parents to children that unhealthy can become place for enemy to put seed of lies in children and cause strife Try to love your children as who she is, not what she done. Like how God loves us and be patience and not easily get frustrated when we dont walk in very straight way Show patience, kindness and mercy and true love coz as someone used to struggle with depression and addicted to pornography for years, i realize how i become this way is because i grow up with abusive parents that cant love me as who i am and they projecting what they want in their life unto me and have no patience at all I go awry from that way and it accumulated with harassment i experienced by other men The mental issue (even physical issue like illness) i believe have root in the heart What our emotion feel will affect our bodies, what in the root of the tree will come out as the fruit
Some healing is instantaneous, others are layered by processes (faith in Jesus to heal, talk therapy, medication/pills, etc.) Bless you, so happy for your deliverance and healing.

Yes, Pastor Brown. I suffer from schizoaffective disorder bipolar type, and I suffered from childhood schizophrenia. I had this problem all my life and had to deal with narcissistic voices in my head. It's bad enough also dealing with the stigma of mental illness. Mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder, are pretty misunderstood. People think that the sufferer is "crazy", "violent" or just to put it plainly, LESS THAN the person who doesn't have a mental illness. People with these illnesses are so stigmatized, that they are SCARED to get help. I feel that the word "CRAZY" is offensive to the sufferer and anyone who's suffering from mental illness is NOT VIOLENT because people without mental illness can be violent, too. The media, writers of television shows and movies always make certain characters with mental illness hurt and kill people, and you see new anchors always say that the people that do the crimes on their stories have a mental illness. That why people get that notion that the sufferer is a bad seed, which is untrue. There's a lot of myths about mental illness that I can talk to you (and other people that read this comment, too) about and educate you further on my illness, but I don't want to take up any of our time. Let's all work together and end stigma and discrimination against people with mental illness, because we all didn't ask to be born or the health problems we're born with. Holding someone responsible for having mental illness is like holding someone responsible for having cancer and diabetes. Love your sermon, though, and may God bless you💛

Physical illnesss gives more sympathy, mental illness because it's in our brain, we are told just be positive. Does a person with a cast able to run a marathon? I'm tired of the stigma that pervades the church. No wonder mental illness creates shame.

Matthew 11:28 Come to me all that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Trusting in Jesus with our hearts and not leaning into our own understanding, will give us hope. I read the whole Bible many times and still had trouble until I went to a satellite of life skills international to get help. This is a Christian program…the Bible says seek and you will find rest for our souls. I am 60 now and finally found the peace and tranquillity that my soul was searching for and basically learned to trust in Jesus by reading and putting the scriptures in my heart and learn boundaries..so much I am learning every day.

I was born with a rare genetic mutation which is called Ectodermal Dysplasia ( the variant I have; there’s 150 different variants, included missing two fingers on each hand; feet match 😊 This, along with the usual differences of Ectodermal Dysplasia made me appear much different than others yet somehow I was able to form many different friend groups. I mention this as this preacher stated because the separate groups of friends seriously mattered to me especially during Junior high and Senior high. Plenty of times I found refuge among these separate groups of friends and this saved me! Where not accepted I still had somewhere to turn and still be accepted as well as receiving counseling. Just thought I’d add to this as the preacher added because he hits on something so very important especially during the ages of 14 and graduating. May God Bless and keep each of you!!!

Mental illness isn't the same as possession. Setting people up thinking prayer will bring God to heal is setting people up for feeling as Christ abandoned them. Remember James who couldn't walk like everyone else and was slower than the others. Remember, Christ told James that millions can attest to their faith through healing but only few can attest to keeping their faith through their illness which speaks louder to the mercy and love of the Father when despite the illness, they can walk with Christ. I have multiple mental illness due to abusive family and watching my mother's murder as a child. God graced me with a way to survive when man said I would be dead by 21. Literally, 30 years beyond that expiration date given by man and Christ, God and the Holy Spirit walks with me daily. The church as a whole need to stop demonizing mental illness. God knew me before I was conceived. He knew I would have these challenges. He formed a plan around it and for a church to reduce it to possession is knowing more than God. Instead, the church should be teaching compassion and the ability to bring those with mental illness closer to God without the expectation they're going to receive a miracle healing by having that faith. God's Will be done and sometimes it isn't in God's will to be healed. Harsh reality.

What an uninformed preacher this man is. As Christians, we should not be anti-science and assume that all problems are based on spiritual problems. I had severe depression for 12 years. I knew it wasn't based on any Bible passage and needed to get to work. I went to a naturopath and she gave me a food allergy test. Eggs came up and I wasn't surprised, as eggs gave me asthma attacks. Four other foods came up but the doctor did not tell me they were related to depression as she could not diagnose. I took SSRIs, and they worked 50%. Eventually I took our the allergy test and eliminated all five foods from my diet. The depression was gone. One day I had severe fatigue. I went to the doc and he thought I had COPD. But I knew that my sinuses were infected even though they weren't painful. He believed me and gave me three courses of antibiotics that cured my infection. I knew after that that I would eat whatever I wanted. I have no more depression. Zilch. I was cured with antiobiotics meant for a sinus infection. Stop treating depession, anxiety, etc. as a demon problem. We as Christians are the laughingstock of the country because we are so ignorant of medicine and how the body works.
I need prayer for my daughter who is struggling with anxiety& depression. As a mother it is hard to see your adult child going through these phases.I am praying for her but i definitely need the prayers of others All glory to God for revealing his word through you Pastor. Much encouraged. Amen
Beloved...Have you shared with her that the Messiah IS the Healer. that He is the only solution for these conditions? In order for her to be healed she needs to embrace Him and fall in love with Him...I am speaking from personal experience in the family.

Lord Jesus heal and help the church rise up to support them in all areas that they need, protect us all from the evil one. Protect our children from the worlds expectations and demands. Draw us all to you for all our needs, hope, joy, sound mind and restoration. You are the healer of all things. You are the one who holds our life in your precious hands. Please do not discourage people from taking meds. Christian doctors will tell you that the biological side needs treated so you ARE able to think right and make more Godly decisions. Without meds... I am not myself. I am bipolar and I know my body full well to know hormones disrupt my body so much it can be extremely harmful to me and perhaps others. So no. Meds are important. Thank you so much for this message. A Christian psychologist uses that same 4 categories. You are so right... All 4 need care. What hit me hard ..love others as yourself. I treat others better than myself. I need to work on that. 😊

Why don't ministers understand that their flock wants privacy. I would never, go up to the front at the end of a service, no matter how much I wanted to because I need privacy. It imperative and real. We don't want to splatter our deepest challenges in an environment of whispering amidst the congregation. Oh No. I also do not like group talking because at the end of the day, it becomes caddy. So tell me where, there is a safe place for us to share our hearts felt concerns. Ill tell you where, nowhere!
Dear god, I am asking you to do what only you can do, in her life and in her current situation. You are, after all, the Lord who performs miracles! I need prayer, I had walked through so much healing but these last four years after covid I have not been able to get back to me I need help I thought I was healed completely so I feel like such a failure 😭 I was diagnosed years ago bipolar disorder I have been off meds for years away from counseling.Its my fault I feel so much shame.I just want to be me again 😢. People with mental problems need deliverance from demons just like that man in the bible and it is the church that should do it but most don't. This is not chemical imbalance. Only Christians have power and authority to cast out demons. Start using what Jesus gave you and commanded you to do. It is a fierce battle. Stay in the bible daily and walk in holiness.
I have watched this twice today. Thank you. I have not been in the mental hospital, especially solitary confinement for a long long. time. I now live in a fancy retirement home for old people. Everything 49:29 49:29 has been pretty normal until they put us in total lockdown because some people here got Covid. I finally lost it and started screaming. They changed their mind and allowed me to sit outside. I felt like I still have a purpose..I pray for everyone I see. Please pray for me. I am still very ashamed at my poor behavior that evening. This was a good sermon for me. I have watched it twice so far. ❤❤❤
Receive forgiveness for your behavior that night & for every sin. Jesus forgives all our sins. We have no right to hold onto our sin & not forgive ourselves because Jesus paid the highest price for your forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
@@bluhaus1amen. That is so true, we need to receive the forgiveness and move on. God is love and Jesus died so that we might be set free. Once our sins are confessed they're remembered by God no more 😊
God must really want me to hear this message. I briefly seen this pastor on tik tok the other day. I remember his face because I couldn't believe how much he resembled Kevin Bacon (Not an insult). So anyways I've been praying and struggling with undiagnosed ADHD all my life. I have even often thought that this is how God has intended for me to be, that it might better serve Him somehow. But I'm learning now that's a Lie from satan.
