This documentary was filmed in early 2003, more than three and a half years before Greg would retire. When this tour started, Greg stayed behind in Sydney for a couple of weeks because his wife's mother had died suddenly, and he was needed there. He rejoined the tour as soon as it was possible to leave.
Yes, he is. He may not be an active Wiggle, but he will always be Greg Wiggle. In November 2008, a fan asked Greg at a cricket match if he was Greg Wiggle, & he replied "yes." As a founder of The Wiggles, he helped create the characters, the shows, & played a major part in writing the songs that are Wiggles standards. As front man, & lead singer he devoted his life (from age 19 to 34) to making them loved & successful. He gave everything to the Wiggles & has every right to be called a Wiggle.
It is not a mystery disease, but a condition called Orthostatic Intolerance. Greg is not an active Wiggle, but he is still Greg Wiggle. Considering the tremendous input he had with the group, & that for 16 years with great success he was the sound of The Wiggles & their front man, I think he has earned the right to always be a Wiggle. Greg is much better now, & spent a busy 2008 back in the public eye. He says he misses entertaining incredibly, & hopes to return to the stage in the near future.
@angieneytirl I find it funny, but not weird that Murray had a beer, he's a man with his own life, he can do whatever he wants...I wasn't surprised seeing him with a bee
