I agree, I'm wondering if the addition of pips would make the moonchild more user friendly for me.

The formatting isn't easy in the book. I think I was expecting it to talk more about each cards photo layers. So I won't worry too much about it. But such a pretty light deck. 🌻

Hello & Welcome 🌞 That's amazing to here. Would I be correct in thinking you have an indie version? It's nice to hear how others pair it, because of the many varied and diverse range of oracles out there. It helps to inspire others to shop their shelves. A few questions people always want answers to if I may: How has it worn? Does it riffle? Do you read in a standard format or with guidebook? 🌞💛💛

@@AntoinetteTarot I bought my deck from Etsy before it went mass market. Unfortunately it does not shuffle well, so no, I cannot riffle shuffle it. Card stock is too stiff. But I don’t mind that so much. I just overhand it. But it’s worn great! No wear and tear at all that I can see. That’s probably because I don’t shuffle it. I just read it based on my existing knowledge of RWS. The guidebook is pretty minimal so I don’t refer to it much. But there is something about the Polaroid aspect that I love! And I love how the images/photographs are knocked back so that they have a subtle hazy quality. I absolutely love that! I am typically not a big fan of photography decks, but this one is perfect for me.

@@megadele65 it has me mentally comparing the moonchild to it now. I think that deck could do with an overlay of pip images like this one . I prefer to overhand, there's something cathartic in the rhythmic shuffle whilst setting intentions or focusing on questions.

I knew someone would know. What a shame the fronts don't match the beautiful backs. It is a very cool deck, the concept is fabulous 🌞💛

How are you getting on with it Simon. It is very delicate, almost ether esq images. A very airy deck indeed. The concept is just too cute 😍
