Hello Joanna. A magnificent voice for this enigmatic tale that the atmosphere of the surrounding landscapes enhances. I have the impression that the presence of this wild man still hangs over the whole region. For me I think that the wild man, that is to say the man before Christianity is still deeply rooted in our mind, "He squeezed the fish juices into his hand before eating them " Thank you for this great story.
Ralph de Coggeshall (the only known medieval author to write an account of the story) tells it rather differently, so where the additions to that source were got from, Heaven knows!
