I love this concept about a fox who are known for their cunning tricky ways trying to con a robot without knowing that it is program to do what it's tasked to do as long you give orders to it😂.
@@kareemcrockett-sivels4371 Agreed. My favorite foxes in entertainment media are Fink and Adult Tod from The Fox and the Hound. Nick Wilde’s not bad, but he’s not like…AMAZING to me.
If I had a nickel for every time an anthropomorphised fox has been written as a sly, witty, and clever but kind-hearted characters, I'd have three nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's funny that it happend three times.
Adult Tod is more nice and sweet to put it that way, but I guess he could belong in the same category when he was trying to show off in front of Vixey.
It’s been a while since I read the book, but I’m pretty sure Fink was a lot more of a side character in it. Happy to see his character expanded on in the movie and have a main role.
Yeah he was a bit of an asshole in the beginning, but he came from a rough uprising and had an abusive mother so it makes sense why he was. But yeah it's good he got a little better in the end
@@wolfman2.055That makes the most sense. Foxes make more of a chirping, high-pitched bark, and growl rather than straight up howling like a wolf or coyote. They are feisty little canines for sure! Hehe.
Ngl, I haven't watched that many movies/shows with Pedro Pascal in it, only The Last of Us, some clips of the mandalorian, and this movie, but my god he's a really talented actor and voice actor. I was so confused when I learned that Fink was played by him because his voice is much more playful and snarky, while in TLoU he was a grumpy old man who lost everything. The difference is just insane. Him and Bella Ramsey become some of my favorite actors with the huge range that they have. Also, funny how both played as Joel and Ellie respectively.
Just watched the movie and i INSTANTLY fell in love with Fink, his personality and voice by Pedro Pascal was on POINT! (Didin’t like the diss towards the skunk tho Fink, but i still love him”
I never read the original book but I heard that Fink had a much smaller presence within the story, he was prominent in only like 2 chapters overall. I’m curious to know why they wanted to expand his character from the original source material.
As a reader of the series, can confirm he’s a background character like all the animals. The series is mostly about Roz and Brightbill. I’m sure they wanted to add a character that could make people laugh and picked him. It was a good choice. I saw the movie first and was excited to read the book, being let down that Fink was a background character. Still loved the books though.
I have no idea why, but in our French version, don’t know if it’s the case in the other versions, he’s named Escobar. Very different from Fink. No idea why the called him Escobar 😅
like 1 minute in I had to stop the vid...because I actually kinda watch the movie, like the animation is gorgious and detailed and voice acting seems pretty good.
