I was there when horse armor came out. Came home from work and saw my roommate had got it, and we had an hour long conversation where each of us debated our sides. My point being it wasn't about 2.50. It was about them being part of the problem by teaching and supporting the greed of game developers, paying for something that no one but you will even see and serves no function, that SHOULD have just come as a in game quest reward, and that it was simply a proof of concept and all these years later. I was right, and it's actively worse than even i expected back then.
hi, I've no idea why you're in my recomended but, for a small channel, your video has a lot of energy and a great montage already. so, glad to have seen it ! and my fav "microtransactions" since you asked, are the small DLCs that Space Engineer releases maybe once or twice a year.
My "favorite" microtransactions: the character Ryu for Smashbrothers on the 3ds. It was a cheap treat to myself, and ultimately disappointing because the DLC characters weren't as developed as well as included characters, less customization and that limited they're gameplay potential comparitively. The other would be a skin for Warzone. "Frank" from "Donnie Darko" I feel like i got what i paid for because it's one of my favorite movies, is horrifying looking, and by buying it, it might have some small effect that get others to watch the movie. That's pretty much the only microtransactions I've EVER purchased. They're evil and are actively making the whole industry worse and worse.
