This song was on the radio when I left the hospital after my wife had a miscarriage. Needless to say I had to pull over but it ministered to me greatly. Even as I type this, years later I’m moved.
Monique Walker is the First Lady of Gospel music. No one can range and rearrange their vocal box in the midst of recordings. To make so many perfect hits. With never a mistake I saw. I remember Hez and Aaron Hall and she. All Ny Groove
Still listening in 2022! This song helped me get through a legal situation of my own doing. After confessing and repenting I left all decisions up to Him and His will for my life. Whether I would have to serve time or not, I left it all up to His will for my life. I said yes to His will. He brought me through it! And I praise Him for it. His will is good! It is acceptable! And it is perfect! Thank You Lord! 😊❤
There was a time you almost looked for a song with Monique on lead no matter what Hezekiah Walker record you bought from the 90’s and you knew from the first note she was gonna tear it up, all the way up! This would be the last time on a LFCC/Hezekiah Walker record that she would appear, she did another on “Let’s Dance” and “God Can” with Kerry Brown off the same Family Affair record (1999) Truly the peak of the “Crusade Choir” although Bishop would go on later in his career with his church choir (LFT or just LFC) with a few of the “Crusade” members and still churn out hits still being sung in churches all over the world, I always felt that “Monique dynamic” was missing in his later works. He still is a trailblazer and living legend in the gospel music industry and just as he continues to minister, his music still lives on from generation to generation!
This is my entire childhood and just found it and sang it word for word. My mother used to boom gospel hits like this in her Cadillac. Great childhood memories that I boom in my car now. Adding this one to the play list now. I thought it was by Timothy wright
Yesssss! I listen to Lady/Minister Monique often. She ministered the word and spoke life to many of us. She started the women empowerment movement through her songs. I listen to the anointing that destroys all yokes over and over again (may not be the exact title, but y'all know it). May God continue to bless her and her family.
I’m laying in my bed in Washington DC listening to this and it’s 2023 at 12:11am. Never heard of this song before. It’s something about listening to gospel songs and allowing them to minister to your soul your spirit. Whewww and how good is sooo good to us. It brings tears to my eyes. Lost my Mom in 2017 from Lung cancer and I am the only child. It gets lonely but Jesus said I’ll never leave you nor forsake you and I’m holding on to that scripture.
It's a decade or 2 later and I still listen to her every Sunday after Church she really killed that song second chance & Let the Glory I love this family 😍😍😘😘
I’ve been conflicted about a potential job move the past few days and today was the interview. This song has been ministering to me all day. Whatever God’s will is for me in this situation is what I want. His will is good, it is acceptable, and it’s perfect.

Well Lady Elect Monique you took us to the Mountain. You are one of the best interpreters of Music I know today. You take us where we need to be In the Holy Spirit. We Praise God for your gifting package. May the Grace of God continue to follow you wherever He leads. Blessings & Much Love
Recalling the moment I first really heard this song. Laying in a hospital bed after being told about the kidney failure and trying to figure out why and what was happening. My friend Kenny B gave me the CD this song is on and from that bed I cried and cried and was taught to believe that God's will is good and it is acceptable and its perfect.
Monique has always been Humble Her Grandmother Elvonia Williams and Grandfather Bishop Carl E. Williams Senior, her Father Bishop Carl E. Williams Jr. Her Mother Sandy and her Brothers were Always Humble...I'm sooo Proud of her Yes, she is Anointed
One of my sisters was playing it last week I haven't heard it in years and the song just stuck with me. I had to play it I love that song because God's Will is Good, Acceptable and Perfect!
I just prayed about a situation and I know it was nobody but The Lord that put this song in my heart to look it up and listen. Haven't heard it in a long time. I searched to listen closely to the words because I knew it fit the situation I prayed about. God bless the writer of this song and the choir for expressing it the way they did.
I love her songs as well, miss the choirs singing in church, and my favorite by her is Second Chance! God blessed Monique with a beautiful ministering voice.
Monique’s voice is amazing ,but the words to this song …does it for me every time .God ‘s will is good ,it is perfect ,it’s acceptable… not our will ,but thy will be done father. Amen.❤️🙏🏽
Had this song given to me as a “babe” .. literally at the beginning of my “calling” and until this day….17yrs+ later, many trials, Domestic violence, generational curses, backsliding and 3(4 seeds) CHILDREN in my womb, many trials, deserts, pain, long suffering, anger, confusion, wearying, trauma and MORE.. this is one of my “Anthems”.. I urge the reader of my comment to even go listen to “Oh I feel Jesus” and “Finally”… this album bought me through when I was literally CALLED/CHOSEN.. called by FEAR in God, contrition and His LOVE.. he favored me 🥲🙏🏾 I love Jesus sooo much. He loves us sooo much. Don’t drop that Bible. Don’t doubt the will He has on your life. He has FINAL say, and He’s REAL! Glory to God alone. Long suffering is a FRUIT. Endure. He is with us 🥰 if you feel weary, praise, worship day the name JESUS. And lean not on your own understanding! Let the word become FLESH. Jesus as first love🙏🏾
The first time I heard this song it brought tears to my eyes..I was in a bit of turmoil at a past job...when It got a little rough I would remind myself of GOD's Masterplan, inspired with the words and how tears still come to my eyes knowing that GOD delierved me from the turmoil it was in his Plan..Thank you Father
This song is still powerful and true. Bishop Walker is such an anointed song writer and LORD knows Rev. Monique is the voice! ..."His will is good, it is acceptable, and it's perfect!"
This song is a classic & NEVER grows old!! Monique is very anointed & God continues to use her, Hezekiah Walker & his choir!! I humble myself before God now, I offer my body as a living sacrifice & I agree that HIS WILL is good, acceptable & it's perfect!!! 🙌🙌😇🙏
Sing Monique!!!!! She knows how to work a song 4 real. Love ya!!!! I love the run Monique did from 10:23 - 10:27 and Reggie on the bass at 10:30 love it, he is not playing with ya!!!!
Hey, I’m her nephew. She actually did keep singing! She has an album out entitled “My Genesis”. Also, she had done a few features afterwards. Including some in 2020! Thank you!!
Yes there is something about the will of God and we sometimes don't understand but I thank God for His will and not minds. His will is perfect and I except His will for He knows what is best for us. Thank you Jesus for all of your will and way You are so amazing thanks you Jesus I appreciate your will for our life.
Monique sung her heart out and gave nuggets on this song. Although Family Affair was the last album she appeared on, I enjoyed Monique's solo album My Genesis. After Family Affair, that's when I really miss this anointed sister.
This is my #1 favorite Hezekiah and Monique Walker song. Hezekiah Walker and The Love Fellowship Choir from that era is my pickmeupper. I do regret not speaking to him when he was just a row in front of me at Platanos and Collard Greens the Play . I play his music every Sunday and listen to his show as often on WLIB as often as I can,
