Vickie's vocals in her prime was no joke in any shape form or fashion!! She was sooooooo underrated in her prime!! But she represented Jesus to the fullest on whatever platform she was on and I love her for that, even in her adversity she never ceased to worship!

This is the first time I’ve ever seen this video of all the family members singing together! You don’t have to wonder if they are Anointed, you can feel the anointing plus very good looking family!
I was 12 or 13 when my mom took me to see their concert when they toured as a whole family. I didn’t understand what the Holy Spirit was but I definitely knew something grabbed a hold of me that night. That was definitely a night of one of a kind wonderment singing and spirit ❤️
The whole winans family is blessed i really miss mom and pop winans they were so full of life when it came to singing...continue blessing souls out there....
I went to school with some of the winans at mumford high school..CeeCee real name was Percelia Winans...she suppose to had graduated in 1982...but she attended summer school and graduated early in 1980...she probably dont remembed me from adam but a classmate of hers name Lisa Williams introduce me to her and CeeCee Winans told me that her brothers were famous and they use to hang out at their lockers and they had some of their album covers taped on their lockers ..she told me when they all graduate ...they really gonna blow up...she introduce me to 4 of them..
Mama Winans gave birth to a mass choir lol! The Jackson family of gospel music. Just imagine their family reunions or family gathering...weeew! All it takes is 1 to burst out a song and I bet the rest well all come jumpin in and already knowing what key to sing in. lol

Wow, I've never seen David (the eldest son) singing before! His gift is the guitar, not singing...lol. Amazing to see all of ten of them, plus Mom, Pops & Vickie singing together! Truly a historical moment.
This is the night that "VICKIE WINANS" was kicking asses and taking no prisoners! I remember it like it was yesterday! She and Marvin Sr. split up shortly after this taping! It was like she was saying "kiss my ass!" She was so underrated back in the 90's, but she and Cece turned out to be the most popular Winans! The two of them are still relevant in today's gospel music! Vickie refused to be punked on this night! I love it!
I went to school with some of the winans...back un 1977-1978 ....i met 4 of the winan brothers...i had a class with Percellia winans aka CeeCee winans....her friend at the time was lisa williams...lisa introduce me to CeeCee ...lisa lived down the street from me and CeeCee winans lived on Woodingham off 7 mile in detroit.
being in a part of family gatherings is what i miss. this is a void that u cant fill so dont try. after 6 years w/out my mom, the void has come back last year, and my babies can't fill that hole. so on your next family gatherings cherish them. i'm living the "what do the lonely do @ christmas?" life. dont ever wonder how would it feel, because it feels terrible.
No one is born a looser but by our choices we make our lives not to bear fruit. In life there are difficulties, when you persevere during difficult times, better times are assured for you. Never giving up has produced amazing results. By not giving up you are going to become an employer, wife, husband, father, mother......whatever it is you want to become. Don't quit, don't give up. Quitting is costly. You are not finished because you are defeated, you are finished when you quit. To be knocked down is not to be knocked out. It is not over until God says it is over. That you are disappointed today does not mean that tomorrow you will not win. What today seems an impossible situation, tomorrow it will all be cleared. As long as you are counted among the living, there is hope. This too shall pass away.
@CRanKedUp10 Marvin and Vicki divorced because, admittedly, she was not as supportive of his ministry as she could have been as his wife. She has since, publicly, asked of his forgiveness and the forgiveness of his congregation at his church in Detroit. It's on RU-vid if you are interested in taking a look at it. Very touching and teaches a great lesson in forgiveness.
Love them!! I knwo they are mostly brothers and sisters, but are there any cousins or are they ALL from mama and pop Winans? What a talented and Blessed family they are!!
@ranmae57 Marvin & Vickie are no longer married, but she didn't used The Winans 2 become famous....she was married 2 Marvin & it was clear that her talent out-ranked the family(boldly speaking)....Vickie worked hard & paid her dues 2 get 2 where she is now :-)!
She can pass to be in the Holmes family.CeCe I told in a letter how my mother sung in the church to. grandma was a mother of her church and my attended the Plainfield church where my mom was raised NJ. My brother James is a Elder or pastor of his church. Brother aunt witch is his father sister is the pastor of Rose of Sharon church his family church in Plainfield on 7 street .
