Hi Dear Fabs, this is so magical and enchanting to watch little baby Frost come to life and done so beautifully too ~ Thank you so much for such a precious gft of love and teaching I am sure I will have to watch many times and make at least a few ~ with love and Thanks ~ Jennie
I had squeals of delight (in my head….lol, don’t want to wake the cats ) when it got closer to being finished. I’d really love to try making this for my first fig and me doll…I might be able to handle this one.
Absolutely adorable! Another beautiful wool baby❤️ You are such an amazing doll artist and I love watching you, You inspire me to sew sweet little dolls💗 Blessings 🙏💖😇
@@Figandme Thank you, So far I have successfully made a 7 inch Waldorf like elf for my friends son, and a 3 inch for my collection. I love their faces such beautiful dolls imo. Blessings 🙏💖😇
I'm crocheting a hoodie sweater for my daughter for Christmas as I watch you create this fantastic little baby doll. As life goes at times, it's been a rough week for me. Watching you create while listening to your superbly peaceful music selection has put me in quite content spirits. I admire your talent tremendously and am nearly ready to give fiber art dollmaking my best shot. Thank you so much for sharing yourself and your work with the rest of us. May you and your family be well blessed this Christmas season and thereafter.
Well, I am happy this video came just at the right moment, to inspire you and calm you for a brief moment in your life. Thank you for your blessings and wishing the best to you and yours!
Hello, I have just discovered FELTING and have come across you site. I was very impressed with your teaching method and how simple you made the process. I will definitely give this creative skill a try. Thank you for your inspirational tutorial, looking forward to sewing a FROST BABY of my own. Blessing to you.
@@renegaderenegar5609 No, unfortunately I do not have space in my home to put kits together or store supplies. But there are plenty of stores on Etsy that sell all the supplies for this kind of doll making. I highly recommend The Olive Sparrow, a store in Toronto with very affordable & fast shipping worldwide.
I love the Christmas music, the table... watching your hands at work. So inspiring!! So can a little guy like this be submerged in water for washing? I’d like to do more needle felting but need my toys to be little kid friendly at this point!
Yes, it can, because it only has partial needle felting. If the entire head was firmly felted, then I would only spot clean. I have washed dolls with this style of face before and they do dry completely, but only gentle hand washing please.
@@Figandme You are so sweet to reply. Thanks Fabs. :) I have friends who sew, but none who are quite as interested in wool and natural fiber crafts as I am. It's hard to find people to answer my questions even at our local quilting store. Thanks again for the video. I watched it again before bed then couldn't sleep because of all the creative ideas swirling around in my head!
Your work is beautiful, I am trying out my first baby but the fabric skin I have isn't as heavy as the doll skin fabric, is it possible to just double the layer of fabric for the head? Thank you 😊
I love the doll you created, 😇but could have donated the sweater to some child in need, as many don't have even this and used some other fresh cloth or torn sweater to make the doll. Removing some frost from someone's life and addding loving warmth. Just a suggestion.💗
You will not believe the amount of sweaters that get donated here from people in our community and I personally do this on a regular basis with our clothing, however I create dolls like this one by using high end cashmere sweaters, not really suitable for a child. This sweater had a lot of pearls and fancy designs. Thanks for the comment.
