Season 2 caught a bad rap when it first came out because of the dramatic shift in focus but at the end of the day, it’s an amazing season.

I was born and raised in Baltimore city. This show was extremely accurate about what goes down in that city.

Remember how deeply hurt fucking Valchek felt over Sobotka putting his window in the nave. Sobotka never made that right with Valchek, I knew back then that was a mistake.

Excellent! It really shows how Valchek was just a kid on a playground who was playing a nasty, but childish, grudge. He wanted to see Soptka hurt but he didn’t want anyone to get murdered over it. I love how the Wire does this. Even the villains are human, no antagonist is without sympathy or at least some degree of humanity.
