As I was rocking my daughter to sleep one night, I was trying to think of a Halloween song I could sing to her that wasn't too scary, and decided to make up my own. I wondered what a witch might sing to her own baby, and came up with this. I hope you like it, and Happy Halloween! 🦇🌙

My daughter, whose in her mid 20's, recently sent me this. She stated that she wished I had been able to sing this one to her for a lullaby, and I completely understand, it is so hauntingly beautiful. I've always let her know of the magic within us. I have to say "well done m'lady!!

What a beautiful and bewitching song. I loved the way it played with tones of darkness and light with the simple, soothing melody of a lullaby dancing over an eerie, magical undercurrent. I loved seeing your little girl take a starring role in the video too. She's so beautiful. Gorgeous all round. I'm defintely in the mood for Halloween now :-)

That's funny, I used to have a dog named Rosie when I was younger. Unfortunately we werent able to keep her when we moved into an apartment but I remember calling her 'my little rose' in a song. It's incomplete but there were a lot of emotions that year.

I was raised as a southern Baptist, but in adulthood I have found that God isn't a ceremony that takes place on Sunday. God is an eternal force, as is nature and as is every other force He created. Be it angel, fairy, spirit or lesser (celebrated) entities, God is present in them all. There is light and darkness in everything, and denying that darkness is denying yourself for the human being you are. I have grown a healthy relationship with God, and everything else he has put here. I'm a witch, but I am also a follower of one true creator. I am at piece with my light and dark half. Your song reminded me of that harmony and I wanted to say that.lol Also, Happy Halloween.

@Princess Nylani I appreciate it, but celebrating Halloween isn't forward thinking. My mother was raised Southern Baptist and went Trick-or-Treating all of her young life. My dad was Catholic and the same can be said for him. Your church's view on Halloween isn't progressive, it's just healthy.

Bruh no this is an underrated song and it needs to be. Most of the witches (inclueding me ) doesnt want witchcraft to be overrated because everyone in social media says wrongs things and this is so bad.
