The Witch's Entrance - Phylicia Rashad - Into the Woods - Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine 

Omg. My first trip to New York in 1988. I was 16. Sitting beside who would turn out to be my first love in the front row of this show. With her right in front of me. To say I was blown away is an understatement. This is amazing. Thank you.

Into the woods with her as the Witch was my second Broadway show in my life, after Le Miz was the first one.

Her characterization, although much less zany, is closer to Betsy Joslyn than Bernadette.

I liked the characterization, but the way she kept dropping the volume of her voice during the song made it hard for me to hear some of the words

I can't believe I was missing out on her talent I was too busy seeing for colored girls, Fall From Grace👎👎👎.. it's beneath her.... Now i loved The Old Settlers it showed her talents and dis play did and claire Huxtable of course
