I have to say I was a bit disappointed that this tutorial did not show us how to spawn our newly created NPCs into the world as merchants, bandits, prostitues, background crowds etc. The wolf encounter was already demonstrated in the written tutorial. Ofcourse here we got a way more indepth and easier to follow explanation for the wolves - many thanks to the guy for that! - but I'm still at a loss as how to put humans into the world lol.

I replaced the links to the wolves to other entities yet it aways spawns wolves. That's interesting how that works.

I have a problem, when I try to modify the appearance of some NPC or characters like the Var Attre twins, I do it from the entity template editor in the "appearances" tab, but the mod is not reflected in the game, I don't know if I'm skipping a step or if it's a problem with the redkit, what should I do to solve it?

I assume you have done the 'publish/save and publish mod project' part and installed the mod?

@@MaxMustermann678 yes, I saved and installed the mod and rechecked the project in redkit to make sure the changes were saved.

@@JoseMorales-rh7dk There are 2 entities. One in characters, the other in quests. The entitiy in quest inherites the appearances of the entity in characters, but you also need to checkout that file

@@moonknightish Thanks for the suggestion but that ain´t it. The entity in quests does inherit the looks can be saved etc but still the change does not show up ingame.

my thoughts are it would take 2 hours to make a spawn because after making that entire list I don't remember all of it exactly.

my summary was gameplay - area - encounter area and guard area, gameplay - spawnpoint - add spawnpoint.. a little hazy on finding the files in the asset browser or setting up tags and hazy on how to find things and thats right after watching this and doing exactly what was said.

Im sure everything in the spawn tree has to be explained multiple times everytime someone tries to make a spawntree until it was repetition or copying and pasting.

I watched it again and I tried to spawn frogs from the animal folder and it only lets you spawn two frogs no matter how many spawnpoints you use.
