Decided to upload some tracks from the game that are not on the official OST. This theme plays in some of the villages of Ard Skellig. This is not the official name of the track. If anyone has a request i'd be glad to help.
i live in warm/hot climate country , this music makes me feel like there's cold soft wind of winter slip pass through windows (i somehow feel the same with Halo 3 "never forget" )
Its an effect of the lute from the ERA 2 medieval legends virtual instrument library. its supposed to give a sense of realism, the hand moving across the lute
Love this track, really simple but incredibly fitting for the mood in Skellige. Found myslef just standing and staring at the view for half an hour just listening tho this.
+Xcuphra the same happened to me, I just walk around listening the song, usually with the rain at the background. and some voices of the people around.
I have completed the full game and all the DLC's a lot of times, and this and Kaer Mohren's themes are just TOO MUCH. I just can't describe what they make me feel...
Finally someone said it! Ive played the game like 12 times now, and kaer morhen music still hits me really deep. Nothing has ever made me emotional as much as Kaer morhen and the rest of the witcher 3 music, literally
There was one day i was just standing there trying to checking my equipments, and suddenly played this music. I rushed and closed the equipment menue found out I'm standing on the top of a snow mountain. And found myself crying. Later that year I wrote a piece of music in Logic Pro, and this was my inspiration. Sorry if I spelled anything wrong! I'm so glad I found the full version of this one. I want to cry. That's my youth 2015.
This game brought us all here in good spirits, almost like best friends, brothers and sisters. It's like everyone who played this game seems kind of connected with each other. It's so fucking special in some way.
just wondering if you're still come back to this wonderful track (after 9 months), and listen this and then pushing repeat button to listen again... I also love "Spikeroog" track.... what about you?
I found it annoying at first that a bunch of unreleased tracks aren't a part of the official soundtrack, but I realised that it just makes them more nostalgic
Ah yes, this theme. It reminds me of 2016 when I had just gone to college, and I'd play this on repeat in my dorm room when I felt overwhelmed. Good times.
Listening to the Witcher 3 soundtrack always makes me sad because there’s no way I’ll ever get to experience the magic of this game for the first time ever again. This and OG FF7 changed my life
Going to the coast through the woods listening to the animals and the nature while watching the sun go down - and the most beautiful soundtrack in the background. Feels like you have reached your goal.
Best track in the game. Skellig is just perfect, they manage to flip the entire theme of the game using only the overall sound (voices, accents, songs, etc) Velen = Dark Fantasy, Skellig = Pure fantasy. All of this using real world European refferences. The best medieval themed rpg of all times and the best western rpg of alltimes (sorry Baldur's Gate and Mass Effect 2)
The whole world of the witcher is dark (near-reality) fantasy...even toussiant is no exception...however every area of those has its own string of beauty that you can see amidst the darkness
I was walking outside of my apartment into a large field of grasses and some trees, also perfect sunlight just listening to this. The overwhelming emotions I had inside stayed inside.. because I was occupied by the speechless scenery synced in with this music...
1:42 I swear that's from Priscilla's Song. Do we really have hints from the melody about the relationship between Geralt and Yennefer while we wander the world, as if Geralt returns to think about them ever so often, or am I sadly just overanalyzing it?
Finished this game today. I fell in love with this track the first second I put foot on skellige. What a journey will listen to this song for the rest of my life. There’s something about it I can’t even describe it just feels right to me. For a second I felt like everything in this world is fine. Magical
Even after all these years this game has been out, I still get goosebumps listening to this track and remember the first time I heard this masterpiece!
I love this track more than other Skellige tracks. Feels really peaceful and serene. I could just lay down on the grass and stare at the sky all day long.
Sitting in my room after work, chin a doob editing and fiddling and experimenting with my Gwent decks when it was in Beta. Sat there for hours listening to this making my Immy deck and my Scoi'atel dwarves deck and my Nilfgaard and goddamn. Memories. It was a perfect game and I miss it often.
@Bone Daddy 69420 It's not that, Bone. That will be kinda lame IF the tv adaptation used something that has already been used. This music belongs only in the witcher 3 "game", not movies. Not sure why the ppl will want the same music there whereas "toss a coin to your witcher" already has 30mil views. Fishmonger is another example how great is the music in the Witcher tv series, and yet ppl will bitch about it without even realizing that even if they had permission to use the same music wouldn't fit on the screen. ppl are complete idiots.
Such a good mix of emotion and feels... when this comes on I just slow down, and explore and just take in the whole game... the game and this song are just one big masterpiece man.. I will forever be completely in love with this game. Simply amazing
Music like this makes the game worth exploring, not to be interrupted by fast travel, menus, and talking. Riding around on Roach while this plays is pretty relaxing
I was heading to a certain area for a quest, sprinting with Roach. Then, this music played when I was traveling halfway. And I made the best decision by slowing down and listen to this.
The best track unreleased. That’s unfortunate cause this is absolutely beautiful. This is one track that I turn down all the other audio except for the music and just stroll around the Skellige Village
An image to paint in your head while you listen… As the sun finally sets, and the indigo skies reveal themselves before the darkness of night, the snow lights up with each falling flake as the moon’s ghastly glow reaches out from the horizon. The chill grows stronger and the fog settles in. As you walk, the crunch of snow beneath your feet grows louder and the moons glow grows stronger as if the sun were blue. You kneel atop this mighty mountain weary from the journey, and look out into the mountainous landscape to take in the view. The trees sway with the freezing breeze from the surrounding sea, and you can almost hear the waves crashing against the rocks. The wolves howl faintly in the distance fading in and out with each gust of wind. The smell of pines and the sea fill your lungs, and you feel at complete peace in the silence of the night. After about an hour of painting worthy scenery, you head back down the trail for the local tavern to warm your bones with mead and freshly baked bread. But the thought escapes your mind when you hear the sound of twigs and leaves crackling through the trees. You peer through the fog and find a massive hairy creature glaring back at you with it’s yellow piercing eyes.
I remember once when I was having a beautiful view in skellige, then this music started playing, I started saving the clip because it was too good, I couldn't even enjoy the view for even half a minute before a fucking Indriga came at me
