Decided to upload some tracks from the game that are not on the official OST. This theme plays during the final fight with Eredin. This is not the official name of the track. If anyone has a request i'd be glad to help.
That's the great thing about Witcher. Eredin and the Wild Hunt are not even CLOSE to the most dangerous things in the world. They're just another foe with ties to Geralt and Ciri. Far deeper, more frightening evils exist in the world that not even Eredin wants anything to do with.
@@kostasspirou1010 Eredin had a certain style while doing it, he moved his stance every time he was hit. But if you are bored and have nothing to complain about then please complain.
This blocking would be even cooler with some Star Wars mod that turns swords into lightsabers and adds that flashy lightsaber collision effect and sounds 😳. Just fooking imagine that...
I found the final boss fight to be awesomly epic, albeit a bit too easy at level 34-35. Too bad Eredin was not really characterized, not present enough in the game. Luckily, they learned from their mistakes, as proved by the two main antagonists of the expansions.
I always felt like Eredin wasn't meant to be super hard to beat, esp. compared to say Caranthir who's the main reason the Wild Hunt are such a big threat in the first place what with his Navigator abilities and all. Not to mention Geralt's spent pretty much the entire game fighting while Eredin has been doing squat and being smug.
I really like the Eredin fight. I mean, after all those bosses that used magic and unconventional weapons it was epic to see that the main villain was using a sword and invited me to have a proper sword fight. I was full of adrenaline when he said "Go on. Show me your spins, faints and pirouettes"
+gears117 on my full combat build i could only beat him by locking him in a corner and whirlwinding him to death. No matter how good you are, one tiny mistake is enough. He eats 80% of hp with each hit.
+gears117 Kicked his arse easy, but it was on Blood and Broken Bones difficulty... I started a new game on Deathmarch (not new game plus, wanted vanilla Deathmarch), not anywhere near this fight yet but so far things are fine!
Eliot Ewens he was easy on vanilla death march. oddly enough, he is 50 times harder on ng+ death march. he can 2 shot you and he has insane tanking hp. and it's the only exception, as the other bosses were a breeze on ng+ death march, and not much different than vanilla DM. But Eredin was plain fucking broken. And this comes from someone who cleared DkS ng+7 naked no shield no spells on dex build. xD
I feel like there's a *hint* of One Winged Angel in this. Just a little bit, most notably at 2:06. The clock tower bells, Eredin's Elven looks, the beautiful yet terrifying angelic choir. Very Sephirothy.
+Stijn van Kralingen TRUE! (Even though Eredin has NOTHING on Sephiroth, master of all sexy villains). As awesome as this song/Crach's song is, I though Imlerith had the best track out of all the Wild Hunt bosses.
Agreed, they should have made it a bit more challenging. It took me 5 minutes to beat Eredin but almost 10-12 minutes to beat Caranthir even though he had one bar of health gone
+Jesse Smith I actually kind of liked how Caranthir was harder to beat as I'm pretty sure he was stronger than Eredin. It kind of shows how Eredin is the leader of the group and not the huge hulking monster that's better than everyone else.
@Connor RK800 Detlaff in NG+DM with a good build is significantly easier than NG+DM Eredin. The issue is that on easier difficulties, Eredin has less aggro, but Detlaff's aggro can't be increased, and therefore stays the same at every difficulty, only his damage being increased by difficulty. Eredin gets progressively more aggressive in each difficulty. This is also why Caranthir is easier on higher difficulties than Eredin. Olgierd is still probably the hardest boss in the game, with maybe the Frog Prince edging him out slightly just because he's a damage sponge.
@@timetrnr7380 so I tried the summon command one time when you summon bosses they are always much higher level than you so I spawned a level ?? Eredin and beat the shit out of him death march and no quen I didn't even know about white raffard's decoction and had a meh build on red mutagens Summoned Caranthir He beat the shit out of me
@Connor RK800 Dettlaff felt like a fuckin game of its own. I played broken bones setting and expected to cry myself to sleep because I play mostly for the story, but everything else felt like a walk in the park untill I fought against Dettlaf.
Truly an amazing game and a masterpiece, it's a shame I wanst really able to enjoy the Caranthir and Eredin fights cuz I had done the DLC and was grossly overpowered and didnt think to put on upscale Also had the ending soured for me cuz I snapped Dijikstra's leg causing Radovid to win and I romanced both Yen and Triss (in my defense I had heard about It Takes to Three to Tango yet thought it was entirely different and that you would choose between them then, and I simply didnt have the heart to break one of their hearts prior) Still a masterpiece though and holds a place in my heart
I still love when he chucks the witcher through the portal me and my brother saw that and i was laughing my ass off as he was like " I DIDN'T KNOW HE COULD DO THAT!"
Does anybody know which song it is that plays during the dark 'scheming' portions of the game? The best example I can think of is when you're talking with Dijkstra about the assassination plot.
+Derek Tarnawa (General Pickle) I believe it's the same as the 'King of Beggars Hideout' music this channel uploaded? If not then it's a similar melody, if you look at the extended soundtrack there's a track called 'The Big Four' it sounds similar too.
me hace acordar al God of War jajajaja q nervios esta parte yo la pase despues de 8-12 intentos en la maxima dificultad me latia el corazon a full sabiendo q si te pegaba dos veces te morias xD
Fighting Eredin was a little underwhelming in all honesty. If they had used this music , I think they would've made him more like the Soul of Cinder and I'm glad they didn't
As much as I like Eredin, his fight was pretty lackluster, 3 attacks that are easy to dodge or to stop, roll twice, igni then slash, nothing exciting, messing up barely punished, wish his fight was more like Detlaff's, where messing up would really punish you, especially on Death March. Maybe adding some frost/bleed damage or after you take half of his hp his reach is bigger so you have to be more careful about how you approach him.
I hated Detlaff's fight because unless you play it in a very specific way it glitches out and is unwinnable (basically his diving bat swarm attack he doesn't launch it from one of the places he is supposed to, and it becomes undodgeable).
