Believe it or not, i actually didnt have anything planned to upload for halloween. but i knew i couldnt just Not upload anything for the best holiday, so i decided to finish something long overdue.
i thought of doing a remastered wither theme a little while ago, around the time of my Familiar Feelings album, but i never really got around to finishing it. but i did have a pretty decent start on it, so i finally finished it just a few minutes ago at the time of me scheduling this upload.
I didnt really want to do a Complete overhaul like with the ender dragon theme ((although its kind of hard to compare as that song Needed a complete overhaul from the original)) so i went with a pretty faithful route, and i think it turned out pretty well.
the wither theme was a song i always knew had potential to be really good, but i was just limited by my skill at the time of me writing it. so im glad i can finally expand upon it now and make it Cool.

I thought the original theme could not sound any better... I was wrong. Amazing job as usual, Thaetaa-Terraainn On that note, what's with the mysterious ruined portal disc mentioned in a couple of your descriptions? Also, a suggestion: Sometime you should basically make 1000 but for later discs, since 1000 only really included discs up to Finale...?, then maybe your next special could have all the discs from Proto up until right before 1000 in a medley (if that wouldn't be a pane in the glass to create, anyway)

honestly, that ruined portal disc has basically become a bit of an inside joke to me. so far every single time ive tried to make it it just ended up as a different song lol i wouldnt be surprised if i do eventually make it but for now its the only True lost disc. also, pane in the glass is an s tier pun

I actually really like that this remaster has a different feel than the original. If I want to listen to a scarier theme, I'll can to the original version you made, but if I want a more triumphant theme, I can listen to this version. Amazing work!

banger. could do with a bit more of a gritty feel, though. remember, the wither is made from charred remains and tortured souls, and it itself is possibly some sort of god, as its existence was theorized long before it was actually summoned. unironically, minecraft story mode's wither storm with it's more metal approach really fits. though, the song itself is still really good regardless and i feel like it tries to incorporate that "corruption" aspect into it really well!

Genuinely played this first time battling The Wither today. It was absolutely terrifying. I play bedrock. My heart raced like a toddler from a pitbull... yet I won. (Edit: structure changes. That and I did it again today and BOY was it harder on Hard mode, plus it was on surface)

This actually fits the wither in terms of lore since the wither is the reason why a lot of the crafters in minecraft get sent to the end so this music treats the wither as a deadly threat

@DarktimeStudios1 people do say, the wither seems a bit too "weak" to be able to drive the ancient builders to flee into the end But then what if, the wither that did that was far stronger than the wither we created, something akin to a witherstorm The minecraft wither as we know it is but a mere mimicry of "the beginning", but still serves as a reminder

Is it alright if I use this theme for a datapack I am working on? The datapack will completely rework progression and bosses. And this theme would fit extremely well for the wither boss I am planning to rework

Love it! A lot more upbeat than the previous two iterations, but that feels pretty intentional. Very fitting theme for the hero's perspective of the fight, whereas the previous two were like the phase 1 and 2 themes for the wither itself. Another banger to add to the list

This is incredible. Usually, when I think of a boss theme for the wither, I think of something more hopeless-sounding, like Your Best Nightmare from Undertale. This is perfect, though.

I was worried I might not like this considering (in my opinion) you kinda butchered the Ender Dragon V3 theme, but my fears were not correct. This is better that the original, and that's really saying something. It has the same main melody, which was one I really liked, but there's music in the background or something that makes it seem like it has more substance. I don't know, I'm not a composer and I am by no means good at describing music, just know that this is S-tier music and really fits the fight.

theres definitely a lot more going on in this version, theres more bass and more instruments playing the main melody, as well as the original main instruments being a little louder
