Wow. The animation is more lifelike and impactful than anything they've done in the past. Previous games had great stories marred by stiff animation for me. Very much looking forward to continuing this story.
But isn't that another studio doing the sequel? I've read something about the previous Telltale closed, was shut down for some time, and then a new team opened the studio again? Might explain these changes you mentioned ^^
@@ichbinnichtdererste A new studio bought Telltale and put them back in business after cleaning up much of the issues the studio had over the last decade. However, now under new management and with better technology they are most likely switching engines from the one they used for almost every single one of their games. Every single Telltale game felt stiff because they were running on an engine made in 2010.
Love how stylish the game looks, after 2 years since the first announcement trailer of this game came out, i'm happy to see that the production is in full force again
After the company went belly up I'm so glad to see the art style has not only still maintained a lot of it's same character but has also gotten better.
It's been a long time coming but finally, Bigby is back! TWAU is still one of my favourite games so to see that the sequel is on it's way, absolutely amazing. Cannot wait to play it!
@@diobrando6961 That’s because it wasn’t his true werewolf form, it was his wolf man form. If you look up online it shows the werewolf classifications.
@@7a81chanel7 why are you so upset that he didnt know? We should just encourage others to check them out its a great series im glad more people are recently playing the game for the first time checking out the comics arent you?
TellTale have made a lot of "questionable" decisions when it come to their stories, but Wolf is hand down *The* TellTale game right along side Borderlands in my opinion. Both are the best in their respective categories.
@@dorebrown565 maybe the lion is at the ranch we’re the pig was sent last game as maybe lion didn’t have a disguise or he simply died and that has a big overarching story in the game
The atmosphere for this game world is so unique and memorable from the art style with neon aplenty to the synth soundtrack and the children's fairytale characters contrasted against a very dark tone to the story, there's been nothing like it before or since. Can't wait
Im glad they went back to more closely match the art style of the original game. All they needed to do was up the character poly counts, texture quality, and frame rate from the old game. I'm looking forward this!
@@PRubin-rh4sr There really was nothing wrong with the telltale style of graphics, it's just that as the years went by other games started doing it better
@@Skellington77 Yeah, but there’s a certain charm with Telltale games that you don’t get from other games using a similar art style. Other games might have a better art style, but the experience feels cheap.
The fact that The Protomen's music was used for this trailer is probably what made me most hype over it. Great to see them get attention. For those curious, light up the night is the song from their second album. ACT2 the Father of Death.
Was coming to the comments to make a similar comment. Backtracked when it first played... "is that Panther?" Yup... if they're part of the soundtrack it'll be nice.
It's one of those games that changes how you see life and things when you play..it adds certain filter to your vision that make you see the world differently..this and life is strange too.
That first game was so awesome and the universe so compelling that it got me to read all of Fables. Definitely a top 10 comic read for me! Highly recommend if you haven't checked it out before.
The best looking?? Spiderman 2 for ps5 is coming out in 2023. Who knows what else. Will this be one of the best looking? Yes. The best? We dont know yet, probably no.
@@theemptylot982 facts. We don’t know what will come out in 2023, but everyone has their own tastes. Personally, this is one of the most beautifully unique games I’ve seen in a while.
This game looks amazing!!!, It's so clean. The realisation that he was there to get Dorthy was just another level. Waiting to see a giant lion go one on one with the big bad wolf
So, if Dorothy is the main bad guy, does that mean Cindy will be making an appearance? That would be cool. (For anyone who hasn't read the comics, Dorothy Gale was Cinderella's nemesis in the international/supernatural superspy game.)
That's what you take away from this video? That the girl openly sitting in the middle of an obvious early-game minifight is the big baddie? Have years of gaming and storytelling taught you nothing?
Can't wait. Been awhile since the first game, which is definitely a favorite and a classic. Never thought I'd see a sequel released, but I'm glad there's one coming out in 2023. I'll be putting in my pre-order when it's possible.
Based on how Telltale mismanaged finances and almost went bankrupt even after splicing their games into multiple pieces, you should hold off till the *full* game comes out, man. No point in giving them money before anything of actual substance is shown. Learn from those who got burnt from Cyberpunk, Warcraft Reforged, Battlefield 2042, etc
@@andrewmeyer3599 well this time they’ll have all the episodes ready to go before releasing the first one. So there’s no question of whether or not they’ll all be released
Dang, Telltale's finally back in action? Gaming has really missed them. Nobody really stepped up to the plate since they left (Except maybe the Life is Strange guys).
