Moral backbone and courage, combined with high intellect. She embodies the difference between a mere politician and a statesman/stateswoman. We are in dire need of the latter in our troubled times.

This lady was quite extraordinary.

It gives a real flavour of her personality and outlook, more rounded than the stereotypes that pervade her image.

A very interesting insight into her mentality and outlook. Very much imbued with a kind of quasi Victorian nationalism that was somewhat dated back in the 1980s and looks and sounds very odd to modern ears.
