Fascinating conversation with Margaret Thatcher - her admiration of Michael Faraday, poems, royal sketchbook, recipes, buildings she likes the most, historical heroes.
Margareth thatcher was a towering figure either in england or in the world. Great speaker, she always spoke her mind.she fought every single day of her splendid life and lived according to her principles.for this reason she paid a high price . She made england great again authoritative in europe as well as in the world. The only thing that defeated her was a friendly fire...
Its very interesting how perceptions of age have changed so much in the 40 years or so since this interview. They discuss 60 being old. Keir Starmer is 62 this year and nobody has said anything about his age.
She had a very idiosyncratic style of speech. I suspect some of it had to do with the extensive voice coaching she got when she became leader of the opposition to lower her voice and slow down her speech.
@@chester6343 It's common knowledge she had voice training you only need to listen to her early 1980s interviews and late 1980s interviews to hear the difference. I still have a voice recording of myself from 30 years ago and I sound exactly the same.
@@dlk1dlk1 Oh, goodness, you're mistaking culture and background with GEOGRAPHY. What does it matter whether they are in Central or South America? If the country speaks Spanish or Portuguese and is in the Americas, it's a Latin American country.
@@blastfromthepast7005 No, you're mistaking Geography with culture. Of course they are all Latin countries but Latin America actually refers to South America.
