@@skeetbcc20 I think the point is you shouldbt be waiting for someone to tell you its bad. You should have enough common sense to know theres no such thing as a drug without consequences and regulate your intake accordingly.
In April I was an alcoholic 300 pounds. Started fasting all day and doing keto I'm down to 198 today. I didn't need a pill. I quit holding myself back with substances that caused me to not care about my diet or health. People don't need these drugs.
Congrats. I hope you quit drinking booze. And if you quit booze and lost 102 lbs at the same time, you’re a fking monster! That’s amazing. When I quit drinking, I had mad sugar cravings, which is obviously normal. Which is why I say, major props!
@@OldJoeBlows Yep did it at the same time. Thanks man, honestly I feel people struggling with sobriety should drastically change to a healthy diet at the same time.. they'll notice how good sobriety feels when they also feel good from the healthy diet.
Who gives a ffck? You stopped abusing something that you should do or only do in moderation. Don’t hurt yourself patting yourself on the back… congratulations I guess 😂🎉
When I was young my Father pointed out to me that the people who go to the doctor less, need to go to the doctor less. It’s odd that in my fourties’ I notice my friends who don’t have insurance and have been to the doctor very little are never “sick.”
Forget ozempic. I lost 105lbs the old fashoned way. Weights, high protein diet, 6 to 8 hours sleep every night, and ALOT of stretching. There is no easy way to lose weight. You got to put in the work.
I cut out carbs and weight loss was EASY. Ketosis is a safe and effective metabolic state that our ancestors experienced frequently. Human babies are born in a ketogenic state and stay that way on a mother's breastmilk diet...don't feed formula or fruit puree to your infant, please 🙏
I lost 90 lbs on a bike in a year. From slob to shredded and the boost in confidence and sense of accomplishment did more for me than getting rid of the weight. Zero negative side effects.
man, i know the formula is simple, but following it is so hard. Like, I would do clean eating 175 g protein and 1600 calories 4 days of the week and then I would pig out on weekdays and ruin all the progress. Its a constant fight.
Ozempic is the reason my pharmacy can't get my insulin pens. They are almost out of stock everywhere because the same company makes Ozempic. It's sad I can't get something I need to live as a type one diabetic because people nowadays can't take the initiative to burn less calories then they take in and lose weight.
Many people are unhealthy because they are fat, but some are fat because they are unhealthy. As a former soldier and exercise science nerd, I am really feeling the karma from all that judgement against fat people now in old age. Fat-phobic thoughts don't just go away, and ignorant young people are very susceptible to forming thought patterns that never go away.
@@fortusvictus8297Look at all the obese people. 1/4 in the us and 1/3 in mexico. Most of which would not be fat without sugar and processed food. While there was fat people before, it was not the norm. Obesity is a dangerous epidemic more lethal than covid and yet too much money is to be made about it so progress is very slow. With all of this is in mind, it is ok to be fat phobic (in a respectful way) because that is not normal or healthy.
I haven't lost a single pound from Ozempic but it has increased the frequency with which I experience homosexual thoughts. Asked em to double the dose. Can't get enough of the stuff
My pops went from almost 500lbs to 225lbs through purely diet and exercise. Took him almost a decade, but as a result he has very little loose skin and looks great.
That’s awesome! Losing it slowly from a high weight like that is so important. My brother is down from 501 to 445, not a huge loss, but he has congestive heart failure so losing it fast would most likely kill him. His new doctor wants him to undergo bariatric surgery, and I’m getting all my facts and research together for the consultation. They need to promise me that he won’t die from an enlarged heart when he loses 100 pounds in 3-4 months. My friends mom died at 55 when she had hernia removal surgery (she had more than a dozen hernias in her intestinal wall) the surgery caused her to lose over 50 pounds in a few days. Her heart couldn’t adjust to the difference in her overall mass. I’m trying to keep this short-ish lol but sadly Georgie died all because she had life saving surgery.
Suicidal thoughts or depression are known side effect of this class of drug peptides. But pharma makes you believe it's insignificant that "some people" may experience. Edit: that is corrected with SSRIs which research shows and proves and now pharma admits, now does nothing therapeutic to serotonin levels in the brain. And like opiates you can't quit them cold turkey lol.
Partly works by slowing down the churning of food in the stomach and subsequently emptying rate. So easy to imagine permanent paralysis in people whose stomachs respond strongly to it
Ozempic and SSRI's are made to have patients dependent on them. The side effects are worse when you come off especially with SSRI's. A study came out a year ago citing that SSRI's do nothing to serotonin levels.
They can measure the amount of serotonin in blood but have no way to measure the amount of serotonin in the brain available to your neurotransmitters. SSRIs stop some of the serotonin in your brain from being recycled, allowing more of it to be available for use by your neurotransmitters.
They work for me but I hate depending on them. I've been on them for many years and every time I try to go home from my depression and anxiety are debilitating. I'm trying again to do It really slowly and ring myself off of it. 😢
@@meldog7925 you wouldn’t say that if you had type 1 diabetes and were dependent on insulin. I have family members that absolutely need ssri’s to keep them in a healthy state of mind. I don’t care what people say, if it improves your life and doesn’t cause you any major side effects then there’s no reason you shouldn’t continue to take them.
As someone that’s been on ozempic almost two years I feel I can speak on this. I’ve had great success losing about 130lbs of fat. That being said I had to make some lifestyle changes. My diet is completely different I don’t do fast food or booze. I do smoke pot and have been in the gym daily since Aug 31 2023, the stomach issues people get I had too I found that increasing my protein intake I was able to combat the nausea side effects. I am so much happier after being on ozempic it really helped me get hold of my health. There’s still room to go but it’s a huge difference.
Took me about 8 weeks to get over the withdrawals from the pain medication I’ve been on. I realised it wasn’t doing anything for the pain it was just numbing me to the world. The whole system is a scam. I’m a three time cancer patient and I know medication and surgery can be vital. But treating it as the whole cure is never a good thing and I’ve had to learn this by almost losing my life to these drugs.
It ALWAYS is. The additives in our food and too many chemicals in our soil's, even the rain. We need to clean things up, grow food in our country and eat what we grow.
@@nancyk-ms3pc Just one point in your comment. We grow most of the food in this country for the entire world. Problem is, what they grow is mostly corn, which is used for more than food, and the food they make from it is largely sugar and carbs which turns into sugar. It's also from heavily genetically modified and regulated seeds so they don't have to absolutely cover it completely in pesticides that do not work because growing a huge monocrop allows insects to evolve to only feed on what is available. Not to mention they have a strangle hold on any farms that purchase their seeds. The majority of issue with our diet is the food source, but the flip side is you can't feed the planet without it. We are so overpopulated, that this is at the current time, the only method that can work on a large enough scale. There are solutions locally and even in your own yard with a garden, but they are very expensive, labor intensive, and require usually a large enough plot of land to do it, which usually requires home ownership. The next step is the knowledge, which while readily available on the internet, requires someone to WANT to do it. Even then, you will fail 10 times over doing it yourself, and need fortitude to push on until you have success, and even then its hard work to continue. Every year could crush your goals. Growing your own food is a lot more difficult than people think, and even people who actively do it, sometimes forget that.
I was on low amounts of Lyrica for a few months in my twenties and I hated it. That took a few months to get off. About the only symptoms I had getting off were these horrible brain zaps. It’s difficult to explain but its just that, it feels like shock waves going into your brain. I can’t imagine what it feels like if you were to take them for years. I will never take anti depressants again. I believe it dose way more harm than good.
You know why. Ivermectin cheap no profit, ozempic the opposite. FDA/CDC would flip out if I told too many people I had positive results treating chronic Lyme with food grade hydrogen peroxide as it "allegedly/possibly" works like ozone/oxygen treatment. Disclaimer- nothing is healthy or good for you or treats anything unless FDA says so, not even apples if they haven't cleared them.
SSRI withdrawal is absolutely horrific and can last for months or years. Its worse the longer you are on the meds. Look at almost every celebrity suicide in the last 20 years, Chris Cornell, Chester Bennington, ect. all had been taking these meds.
yes. rips apart your soul and health. pssd. no sex drive. no personality. ruined eyesight.. etc. i cured PSSD at 23-24.... and PFS at 31. anyways Im good looking and emotionally and otherwise scarred a bit. f pharma. it will kill tons of kids coming decades. worse than death.
The numb genitals from SSRI’s that this man was talking about is a condition called PSSD. It doesn’t go away, most sufferers live years or decades unable to sexually function.
Joe Rogan podcast just got removed on Spotify. I was in the middle of this episode when it completely kicked me off and now will not let me find The Joe Rogan podcast anywhere on Spotify
My wife is a pharmacist for CVS. They had a shortage bad during the past holidays because obamacare basically allowed the people using handout health care to get it for free. All of them were bragging about how they were gonna look good for Christmas....
A lot of people who take it look like sh*t. The amount of loose skin some people develop is hideous. Could easily be prevented by slowly losing fat/putting on muscle, but nope....people want to lose 60 lbs in 2 months. Oh well, it's their body 🤷♂️
This is what my brother-in-law was prescribed for diabetes. He was 6ft tall before shrinking and weighed 70lb when he died. I believe he was starved to death.
Oxympic is going to make a killing considering a vast majority of Americans are overweight or obese. Even though they know the consequences of the side effects. Scary
SSRI's actually saved my life. If I stop taking them I get really bad migraines and panick attacks but my life was chaos before. I was going to jail, drinking non stop, doing drugs ect. I've been on escitalopram for 3 years now and my life has only been improving. I am now convinced I am definition on serotonin or something, but either way my life is good with it and Chaos without it 🤷
Number 1 enemy to weight loss is patience. If you don't see results immediately you're more likely to go back to old habits. Especially if you have a dopamine dysfunction, which coincidentally overeaters have. Overeating and masturbation are the same, influx of instant dopamine without hard work.
whoa whoa whoa. where did you get a comparison for masturbation and overeating? overeating can be done by anyone, male, female, child. masturbation ONLY applies to men and women and is natural to be done occasionally. overdoing it would become a problem, but masturbation is not some dysfunction as you call it. If everyone ate 1 meal a day and masturbated once a day, we would have a bunch of skinny people who aren't pervs. I think what you mean is people who overeat are likely to also over-masturbate. that would make more sense then to say people who overeat are similar to people who masturbate
@IISourAyyII most evidence shows the opposite, increased masturbation leads to increased sexual thought. You don't avoid coke addiction by doing 1 line.
Started on Zepbound. All fine. Losing weight and I am so happy the food noise and cravings, I always lived with, are gone. Most of the bad stories I have heard are people not adjusting lifestyle and diet. If I tried to eat the quantity I ate per meal before I surely would get sick, you just can’t continue the same and think the medicine does all the work. I eat less, I workout and the medicine keeps me on track by tacking away the cravings and desire to over eat. If anything I have to track what I eat to make sure I eat enough. If you are not careful you can go all day and forget to actually eat.
I started ozempic about 2 years ago. I weighed 295lbs and my a1c was in the middle 9’s. I’ve lost 85lbs and my a1c is now 5.0 and the only time I have any side effects is if I over eat and I only feel a little nausea.
Changing your diet almost has to happen because of upset stomach. What so many people are missing, or don't understand when they talk crap, is that this can cure eating disorders. It saves lives. It's just the latest thing to demonize because too many people don't understand the mental disorder of binge eating, depression, and obesity.
@@tonyc9087 same I started last march am down 45 lb I can't remember what my a1c was but my sugar was regularly 18+ lol I was 300lb now I'm doing great just don't over eat like you said
Sounds healthy, "the food noise and cravings" so now the urge to eat that keeps you alive is gone and you have to track what you eat to make sure you aren't starving to death. All this instead of eating regular portions and doing a bit of exercise? "Most of the bad stories I have heard are people not adjusting lifestyle and diet" You sound like a junkie that says Fentanyl is safe man, those who overdose just take too much... I'm a smart junkie. Hope your asshole doesn't fall off.
I remember when it really started to boom last year, my mom (nurse) was ranting to me about how many people are getting on Ozempic. Stressed about how its a diabetic drug rather than a weight loss aid and that’s people will be going crazy with it. Fast forward one year and it’s everywhere, in tv, in MUSIC it’s literally all over the place. Crazy shit
Brain zaps are the worst when trying to get off ssri. I felt like I had a 9 volt battery shocking my entire head for weeks as i was trying to wean off cymbalta.
Man I told people the same people about vaping, no side effects now but that was years ago now my buddies aren't my buddies anymore due to crazy outbursts, having the ability to breathe & lack of energy or ability to function normally with their daily dose of vaping.
My friend took this for several months and she ended up in the ER with liver failure and a full body rash. 6mo later and she is still struggling to get back to normal life. Not to mention she was constantly nauseous before getting sick and barely lost any weight.
Did your friend get it from a legitimate doctor, or did she get it from the black market? People have been taking it for diabetes for years.. It's pretty safe to take in the short term at least.. There could be some long-term side effects that we don't know about yet, but I doubt it..
That's what happens When taking medication that is made for people with diabetes. Too much blood sugar is bad, but too little is worse. S I'm diabetic and I've been taking this medication for years because it's the only one that doesn't harm my liver and kidneys.
This is actually a serious issue, being discussed by the lowest common denominator. Gluttony has overcome the American dream and filled it with artificial happiness. People are living test tubes for a class of people willing to trade your wellbeing for profit and progress in their own sadistic nature.
😂 Integrity!? Come on bruh, it's "safe and effective". On a serious note...imagine the kickback money they gotta be making on this sh_t? It's the Prednisone push on steroids. Next, they'll get everyone on antidepressant sugar pills for 500 a vial and the average person will be none the wiser...😉 (if you know, you know...gold star ⭐ 😉)
Same thing happened with opiates and stimulants, anybody that walks in and says they are in pain or have trouble focusing got Vicodin and Adderall. And we wonder why people have a hard time trusting doctors.
Im on ozempic. Lost 50 pounds in 4 months. Its ment for diabetics but it also works as an appetite suppressant. The thing with it is that if you get off it and you arent a good eater and dont work out, youll out all that weight back on

I took Ozempic for diabetes i acquired after cancer treatments. Worked great and kept my sugars under control with no other medications. Unfortunately I got so constipated at one point I hadn’t had a bowel movement for 2 weeks. It was so painful.
I started Zepbound a month ago. I lost 7 pounds in 19 days. I know I've lost more, but my scale is broken. Anyway, doc put me on a higher dose...and let's just say the higher dose is causing serious issues & I'll be going back on the lower dose. But on the lower dose, I have to remind myself to eat and I have NO cravings! It's awesome! And I hope I can stay on this for the rest of my life!
