I think I know what was going on here, if only because of an issue I had while making a modded item. Apparently, Tainted Forgotten (and Jacob and Esau) basically hijack the multiplayer in order to work. P1 is the Bone, and P2 is the Spirit. P1 is invincible, but can’t move, and P2 can move and take damage, but can’t shoot. Simple restrictions to make the premise work. The problem here is that, since P1 is technically still a separate entity from P2, using the Clicker probably convinced the game that it should only change P1’s character, resulting in the glitch. As for the items no longer being shared between Laz and the Spirit, I’m pretty sure it works like follows: In order to make it so you can pick up items with either character and still have them go to P1, they probably set up some jank ass code that checks to see if P1 is Tainted Forgotten’s Bones, and if they are, all items grabbed by P2 automatically go to P1. Since P1 was technically not Tainted Forgotten, the check failed, and the Spirit got a chance to finally get an item :) No idea why the hell the Charge Bum was being janky though. Probably something like above, with it trying to charge the Spirit’s active item like it was a different player.

This is possibly the greatest video on the internet, and objectively the best isaac video. The pure amount of INCREDIBLE shit that happens throughout this run has never and will never happen again.

Part of me will forever miss the absolute chaos of the half-baked cookie that Edmund birthed from his moist, swollen oven, but another saner part of me is just glad I can play without crashing the game every five fucking seconds.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance for Nintendo PC is a well made and completely finished game that has no bugs or mistakes in any capacity, etc. Long live Tainted Lazgotten

Seeing this run live was an experience. In my time of playing Repentance, I learned so much just from this one run.

Flying in Binding is basically just you being the admin noclipping in DarkRP.

I want to emphasize for the non-BOI players that this patch had an... interesting development. It wasn't released until several months after Repentance's initial release during which there were some serious glitches, some of which could even corrupt your save file. There was also a smaller patch planned to fix the bigger bugs but it got merged with the big patch partially due to console port development wrapping up about that time. By the way, the console port of Repentance as of now has a weird, only half-implemented version of this patch which means console players are still experiencing some delicious jank.
