If you want to improve your psychological knowledge in a way that is more fun than just studying and trying to memorise, I recommend reading a popular science book. You will be surprised how often the ideas in these books pop up in your actual course! And you’re far more likely to actually understand these ideas having read about their wider context.
Check out my website psychboost.com... for my review of each of these books including why they will help with your A level!

i recently decided to self-teach a level psychology, at 20, (i'm picking up the chem and spanish ones i started at sixth form too) and, though i thought this would be near impossible, your videos are incredibly helpful :) thank you

Cheers! More views and subs are nice. But there is a bit of a limit considering how many students do psych. Considering that I'm actually really happy with how many psych students trust me enough to watch my videos. Good luck with the exams🤞

You say (I paraphrase): In some of the trials the visual a spatial information was integrated, while in other trials it was not. FMRI showed increased activity in the prefrontal cortex in the former case, while activity was increased in the posterior regions in the latter case. This suggests the episodic buffer exists, and it has an identifiable location in the brain. …except, it doesn’t necesarrily suggest that, or not just that. From this fomrulation, it simply suggests when information is integrated, it is processed in the prefrontal regions, while when it is disintegrated, it is processed in the posterior regions. That’s like saying there are two buffers (episodic and non-episodic?)
