Simple and bloody efficient demonstration. I like the fact you weighted the gas canister before/after. That makes it a very good, factual, objective demo. Over 5min to boil...Waoooh! But only 10g of gas, not so bad after all. So, if I go for a 10 days trek then I'll know how much gas I will need. Thank you so much
Personnally, I weighted a full brand new canister before and then, after the boil of 500ml water. 8g of gas consummed. That way, I know how much I need for my entire trek or if I will need to re-supply
I ordered one of these very ones on eBay a Month ago and just received it today at only $8 Canadian it's a steal but I am waiting for someone to invent one which is this price which works on White Gas like that other MSR one. if I go Camping I want to know I have plenty of fuel for as long as I Camp and this is guessing with these canisters!!
I've seen your previous post and I liked it to support your choice. That stove is super cool and tiny and it's always with me during my trips. I also have Coleman Sportster II Dual Fuel 1-Burner Stove which is super reliable as all Coleman products.
