I really love this musical. I saw it when i was in New York and after the show i meet Sierra who played Ariel. She was the best. How i wish this musical could have been a film. It's very sad that it was not allowed to record this.
I played Scuttle and I'm a guy, it was like 4 years ago when my voice was higher so i sang it like a girl tho :3. Probably one of my favorite roles to play.
I'm going for Jetsam (technically I'm mainly going for Ursula but I'm a million times more likely to get Jetsam and just as enthusiastic so eh) but my bf is going for scuttle which I'm really hoping he gets cuz he's extremely talented and funny
i played ariel in my friend's production of the Little Mermaid. it was so fun to comb my hair with a fork! my mom yelled at me for using a fork for a brush. yeah, never again will i audition for that part. oh what am i kidding, give me that dinglehopper!
@terrificjoker Actually if you get the compaion book of this production, you will see that Sierra actually has a ring in her belly button! My mom said that that was one of the things she noticed about her when we saw her onstage
For the purposes of each item, im guessing he's just confusing items of similar shapes with each other, and with that, their purposes (fork has prongs like a comb, you breathe into pipes and they're curved like brass instruments, etc). No clue where he gets the names tho, I would assume that he gets them from misunderstanding human languages but I don't think that's it cuz he can talk with Ariel in the same way she talks with humans, so he should understand them
