The year 2200 is as far from 2022 as 1844 is from 2022. Just think of the technology we had then compared to now. We didn't even have cameras or lights yet.
Actually, 2200 is much further away when you consider that the rate of technological change is accelerating. Even the acceleration itself is increasing.

This is soooooooooo exciting!!!!! Especially the idea of virtual simulations!! I was born in 2001 and always wondered what It'd be like to experience the early 2000s and previous time periods as an older person, in a way that's easier to remember!!!! If these predictions are accurate and life extension comes out in my lifetime, I'll choose to get it or if reincarnation is real, I'll choose to reincarnate closer to this time period, so I can experience virtual simulations of the 1800s, 1900s and early 2000s and even a virtual interpretation of the future and also be whomever I want! I'm a gay, black 20-year-old (now 21-year-old) male in this life, but in the future, I can be any one I want in these simulations or even through future technology, whether It be another race, nationality, gender, etc!! I'm so excited for the future!! I was always saying I'd like to travel back to the past through time travel or reincarnate into the past, but a virtual simulation of the past would make it more fun than actually time travelling and reincarnating into the past, although I may time travel to the past, if time travel becomes real, because that probably WOULD be fun too, and better than reincarnating into the past, as if i reincarnated into the past, I'd be stuck back there and have to come back up to future time periods all over again, but if i could reincarnate into a better, more positive version of the past in an alternate timeline, that'd probably ok, too, as some of my loved ones, including my mom and two of my grandparents died and even also all my pets, and I'd like to reincarnate with or see them in an alternate reality, but maybe time travelling to visit them in the past would be nice, or reincarnating with them into the past or future, as I think it'd DEFINITELY be better to reincarnate with the actual souls of the versions of them, from this life, though I wouldn't mind being with an alternate version of them or creating and/or living with a simulated version of them or the past or even in a virtual interpretation of the future, haha! Still very interesting, but increasingly disturbing as well. This could be a way we as a species cease to be because if we transform ourselves too much in this manner are we still human?
With the assumption that technologies can continue to evolve to this point, plenty of people might want nothing to do with some of these more exotic technologies involving the body and mind. But, the disadvantages they'll have in day-to-day life could become incalculable at some point.

How long until what are considered human rights focus on the augmented or developed? We'd be considered less than animals. If we kept the same rights as them, would we even understand them?
I would say yes. You have to think. By then, not everyone would be able to afford upgrading themselves. The poor for instance. How would they be able to afford becoming upgraded, if they can't afford a place to live? Then there are people who wouldn't want to upgrade and see it as a blasphemy or a affront to God.

How much worse would it be if there were a bunch of augmented people running around claiming supremacy over those of us that choose to remain free of implants (apart from things like medical devices for those in need that is)? How long until there's bloodshed and mass unrest as a result? The augmented would say the non-augmented aren't capable of understanding because they don't have the intelligence they do, and the non-augmented would say the augmented aren't natural. Once this goes mainstream the race would die off shortly after as we'd be replaced by machines who may or not say they're human but would they be?

Honestly, it's not entirely implausible to think that those of us under the age of fifty right now in 2022 could very well live indefinitely, if things like gene therapy and cybernetics continue to advance on track with these predictions.
If we've made it this far, there won't be an upper and middle class anymore. No need for money either. What need would you have for it when you've got photosynthetic skin and the ability to replicate matter with your thoughts? And with our quantum enhanced brains, it's hard to imagine we would still be running society on scarcity principles. I also think this timeline is going to happen WAY faster than expected, because as soon as we can think of solutions on a quantum level and we have AGI, world reshaping ideas and solutions are going to come pouring out by the minute. I'd be amazed if we're not all able to exist as code by 2090 if things persist at the rate they're going. It's a J curve and we are right at the threshold of the vertical ascent.
the only way uploading consciousness works is to make sure the person has all this happen before hand while being awake then have them fall asleep and then use the computer to transfer the state of being so the exact person is there without them being awake in the first place to ensure that it works perfectly. then further beyond that both cam be awake at the same time.

Seems like someone in the 2012 saying in 2022: Being able to send 40 million books a matter of minutes and then Being able to send a letter to grandkid instantaneously. I'm enjoying binge watching this series. I only wish that I could be around to see it. I'm over 76 years old and this marvelous technology is passing me by. I'll be long dead before these marvelous inventions are reality. Regarding any of this being abominations, give me a break. Why would GOD give our scientists and technicians the inspiration to invent such marvels if GOD didn't want us to utilize them to the max? Though this series is superb in my opinion it's missing a primary consideration MORALITY. Why invent these marvels only to enable governments corrupt by nature and rich oligarchs to exploit the people while the people lay back and play with their phones and sexbots completely oblivious to the fact of their being used? Also, what would be the point of crime in s world of such abundance? What would another person have that we couldn't obtain instantly for ourselves? And anyway, don't we have a hive mind at this point? We could still all be very unique individuals, but with the consciousness of ourselves as part of one super being, we're not really going to have to take anything from anyone "else." Unity. In have closely following neuroscience and connectomics research for last decade, mind uploading will be mainstream by 2050 itself and for billionaires possibly lot sooner than that.
