I've been following Apple Black since it was Strawberry Black, and Sano was Sanosuke lol. I feel like I'm watching a friend grow up and I can honestly say I'm so proud of you Whyt and proud of what Apple Black has become. I see BIG things in the future for Apple Black if continue this track you're on. You probably don't even know who I am because I never comment but I just wanna say I've been one of your biggest fans since forever. And when Apple Black gets big I'll be glad to know I've seen it evolve.

yo deadass tho I was born and lived in Bermuda my whole life. I felt really special when you had Bermuda in your comic, Especially the fact that "Black" came from Bermuda. Also guys the actual stories of Bermuda in real life arent really true, we just have a low reef that ships used to crash on.

It´s also the most faraway place from when Sano starts off, probably indicating folks around the area are on a very high level compared to the starting area of the series.

Cool world, even though I get lost with all the titles and that. I like the concept with ranks and leaders, I plan to include something similar in my own story eventually (a BIG eventually). In any way, I hope Volume 2 is shaping up. I look forward to reading it!

IceKendii I think his style evolved since we first met Odunze and it has become his I no longer see bleach in his art style but as it comes into writing I understand your mutual feelings coming towards the thoughts of bleach in fights in AB and the story writing as a whole. But then again AB is a classical type of shonen manga

Are lords, Dark Lords, Heart Dark Lords etc. all considered to be Cloaks? Are they different ranks of Cloak or are these all separate titles that aren’t considered cloaks, but are all considered officers. Is Cloak a synonym to Officer?

A Cloak is a synonym for an officer, they are all officers, so they are all cloaks but then Overlord, X Lords, Dark Lords, Lords and so on are of higher rank. This Idea is explained further in the book, OUT THIS MONTH on the 21st of November, 2017.

@8:31 the joint on the black guy's right arm (his right) doesn't look right. If you were to remove the white guy touching the butterfly, to get a better look at the black characters right arm, you'll see that his arm would be very short because of where you put the joint.

The arm is going backwards a bit and so perspective makes it look short, but it's not. Notice not only looks short but it also looks smaller.

so I notice that volume 1 came out in 2014 and you're saying that volume 2 is coming out soon now that its 2017 is there always going to be such a long wait in between volumes of Apple Black? I want to start reading it but the schedule of its releases so far kind of turns me off of it

You should never completely adopt a art style someone else is already using, at least do a effort and use two different styles as referenced inspiration, so the audience can have a more interesting set of reactions, than just: "Oh, this is X series style 2.0"

i really like the concepts explored in this comic, but some of the names just seem cheesy and childish to me. dark lords, heart dark lord and plague x high cloaks to name a few. loses the reader imo
