The World of Saw Whet Owls with Andrew Fisher 

I love this ❤❤❤ I'm in southern Ontario in Guelph where could I go to take photos of these beautiful animals and their nests ?

Really a good lecture to know more about the Northern Saw-whet Owls which are our most favorite owls, thank you ! we just found once in the nature and made two videos for him/her. Really, really love it!😀

Great talk! When you have this many boxes, maybe consider adding large label codes to the front so you can easily see which box is in a photograph (ex. A1)

That was fantastic! I live out in Massachusetts and have had cycles of saw-whets in my nest boxes throughout the past 20 years. Unfortunately, recent years have been a significantly down cycle and i am anxiously awaiting their return to the area. Although attaching the boxes to live trees has been the most successful, i have had some success with mounting the boxes onto metal conduits so that i can attach a vertical squirrel/predator guard to the conduit to prevent predation. The beauty of the metal conduit system is that you can telescope the nest box up and down to inspect it by mounting the nest box to the larger diameter conduit and slide this conduit over a smaller diameter bottom section, this negates having to haul a ladder through the woods.
