Boneworks is widely regarded as an outstanding virtual reality experience, but perhaps one of the most fascinating things about Boneworks is the speedrunning community it spawned. In this video, we'll be talking about how every major strat and glitch was found, the numerous world record holders that contributed to the run, and the journey to beat Boneworks in under nine minutes. I do enjoy long form content, about halfway through I decide to check who actually put this very well made video together. Guess the look on my face when I realized it was none other than Goldpro! It's depressing that Schyke quit, he was my favorite speedrunner in any game now, still love his content though! Boneworks is the only game that I've really enjoyed speedrunning. I loved speedrunning it before gun glitch, but gun glitch just felt kinda like a dev item speedrun, just fly to the end on each level. Boneworks speedrunning is basically dead, but I congratulate other runners for still playing, there's definitely still some new strats waiting to be discovered, hopefully sub 8 is possible. Thank you Goldpro for being an amazing runner through this amazing game.

damn, I wish I could play boneworks again... Such a good game, I have so many good memories from it. I never played a game that made me feel such emotions before (for some reason) the feeling you get when you stand in front of the ladder trying to look for the top but you can't see it. climbing it and thinking about everything you just went through happy and confused while the music is blasting in your ear. reaching the top physically exhausted by the long claim but you can't wait to see what is awaiting for you in that final room, you get in, press the button, you watch the cutscene as your heart is racing, hoping ford will make it before them. and when he does, the cutscene ends, and everything slowly turns black as the adrenaline leaves your body and you beginning relieved, but then, THE BEST MUSIC YOU HEARD IN YOUR LIFE IS KICKING IN IN FULL VOLUME AS THE WORD "BONEWORKS" APPEARS IN THE DARKNESS followed by the credits… What a game…

I remember seeing a boneworks speedrun and I immediately wanted to try it myself. It was the first time I've ever wanted to try speedrunning myself. Something about it was just so captivating, it seemed so creative and cool!
